Very clean establishment, the staff is extremely friendly with it's customers. I got lost in the menu with so many items but boy it didn't matter. The breakfast sandwich was delicious! I'm definitely coming back here!

I wanted to like this place more than I did. The food was very good for sure, the steamed bagel concept is an interesting departure from your regular style. I did think some of the food would be even better toasted, but that's just my preference - it was certainly tasty, flavorful, and an interesting combination of elements that I did quite enjoy. The reason for deducting a star is atmosphere - I did not enjoy the heavy metal style music, which made the place just seem a bit obscure and not very upbead or positive vibes inducing. Despite that - and I'm sure many people would be into that atmosphere, it just wasn't for me - the food was very good, so overall I was still glad to try it. If you're not into that type of music either, perhaps I'd suggest getting the bagel to go and just walk to a park nearby and eat it there. Still, would recommend trying their bagels!

Delicious, hits the spot. Love the variety. Sandwiches are tasty (if a bit busy at times), atmosphere is dive bar meets college cantina. Staff is friendly, young, good energy, accommodating...like a Starbucks but FAR less pretentious. Only complaint is that their pastrami is not on the menu all the time, It's one of my favorite things in a bagel Sandwich. But the corned beef was tender and I loved the habanero mayo. I ordered the Bread Intruder, Which was great, but a little too much going on between the bread. Don't get me wrong, it was very tasty, but I think I prefer a More simplistic sandwich, So I will do that next time.😊 I like that they use all of their property, they have a good amount of seating in the back. Great visit. 👌

I like bagels and I like breakfast. CBA provides both of these in abundance. The staff is really friendly and they are doing their best to make sure things come out quickly. My favorite part though is the sign behind the registers that changes colors based on projected wait time. It’s a much better system than having to ask and more quick service establishments should adopt this.

This place is so awesome. Their steamed sandwiches are next level and something everyone needs to try. Very different from toasted bagels in all the best ways and they have all the options under the sun. Strongly recommend.

Highly Recommend: all in all great bagel sandwiches. But set expectations on timing, during high traffic times you can wait for up to 50 minutes to get your order (1 or 10 bagels), so just order plenty in advance online. Also, don't trust the time app says to pickup most of the times it say order will be ready in 15-25 minutes, but the reality is double that, unless you order during non-peak hours.

Have been to the Armitage location many times and the bagel sandwiches are literally the best I’ve tried in the city. Today I decided to try the Belmont location and accidentally ordered to Armitage— thankfully the workers were nice enough to make the order at Belmont when Armitage already had it made. Greatly appreciated! 10/10 bagels

Layout/atmosphere *Seven tables; two TVs; pickup orders sorted alphabetically Food/drink *Dank ‘N Eggs (scrambled egg, bacon, roast beef, smoked cheddar cheese, american cheese, honey mustard, salt & pepper on an everything bagel) - Good; bagel on small side; soft; the roast beef and honey mustard came through

Probably one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, but like a previous review said, definitely be prepared to wait - waited 25 minutes for my sandwich as they prioritize online orders. Will keep that in mind next time, as that was a bit excessive. They also have great coffee here.

Bagels are incredible! Best in Chicago. We had a sandwich today - they do steamed bagel sandwiches which makes everything pretty soggy (not my texture preference) but the flavors were good. So many great options, even as a vegetarian i had a lot of choices vegan and vegetarian options too! In the past let we have ordered just bagels for toasting at home and they are fantastic, last a while and freeze well. COVID: Great and clean pick-up only (or delivery) protocol you order ahead and get a text when it’s ready.

Steamed bagel sandwich was very good. It turned the everything bagel to be really soft and chewy. My preference is to have a little crunch/snap on my bagel. But the portion was decent size and flavor on breakfast sando was on-point (would be really hard to mess up scrambled eggs and bacon). Only drawback for me is its difficult to find parking (i went during noontime on Thurs), very dense population (good for the resto but if not in walking distance…) in this LP neighborhood. Prices are fair compared to my other bagel favorites.

The Denver on the bialy was very good. We just went for the first time. We will try to go back when we visit the Chicago area again. A little pricey but it is probably a sign of the times and/or welcome to big city pricing.

Always love this place great to see it hanging in post pandemic. my Fav is the Aunt Patty sometimes I do chicken instead of Tuna...and to be weight watchers conscientious they scooped out my pretzel roll so a bit less carbs...but picked up bagels for my partner for the rest of the week

Got the Woody, so good! Tons of options, all looked great. The steamed bagel was noticeably different but tasted so good! Definitely recommend checking this place out!

I absolutely love this place. I started coming here a few weeks since it’s down the street from my job and I haven’t regretted it since. So far I have only eaten the Egg McMahon & Breakfast Bagel multiple times and I feel like I don’t need to try anything else lol. I saw there lunch & dinner menu and I’m just amazed at the amount of combinations they have come up with. I always love how I don’t even need to have something to drink while I’m eating the bagels and that’s unheard of

Never seen such a varied bagel sandwich menu in my life! These guys thought of everything, and I definitely appreciate the amount of sweet options. If you forgot your glasses (like me), grab a printed menu from the center of the bartop. It's literally steps from the Brown line and I can't wait to come back!
