Try the appetizer dip sampler! It's delicious! This restaurant is a gem; it's been around since 1974. The service is great! The Tunisian Chicken is savory. The portions are generous; I will have to try dessert on the next visit.
Our first time here and we had a great experience.
The servers were attentive and great. The place was clean and comfortably large.
They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options, which is a plus. We tried a few different items, overall a lot of food:
Sprouted falafel starter- delicious
Harressa Dip- very good
Veggie Combination #2 - very good
My partner had a meat dish, and he really liked it. Every entree comes with a soup. I had the lentil soup which was the only item I thought was just okay.
Overall I definitely recommend and plan to be back if I’m in the area.
We took a group of 13 for a pre holiday get together. The service was friendly albeit a little slow . The food was as I remember it. I love the pita and hummus. We had a little bit of everything and everyone seemed happy.
Andies was a great restaurant for my date tonight. It had a nice charm to it. We originally were seated by the front next to the window which was pretty, but drafty. Not to be held against them, of course since they moved us next to the fireplace instead which more than made up for it. And the rest of the night, they offered great service and food. The lentil soup was tasty and my gyros plate certainly had more personality than a street vendor version of the same dish. Our servers were around regularly, but not intrusive. But one piece of advice they gave was to be aware that the entrees were going to be bigger than we may expect which held true for sure. My date had shrimp and steak kabobs and enjoyed her meal just as much. It was a great environment to talk at a conversational level and still be heard. Maybe it was a quiet night due to the cold, but it was perfect for us. Lastly, I was actually surprised at the price and how much value we got for the final bill. I've spent more on less food at a lesser restaurant recently. I think it's a great value if cost is a concern.
I would recommend Andies to my friends and other readers.
This is a charming restaurant with delicious food. With plenty of options between traditional Mediterranean eats and vegetarian and vegan options, it has a dish for everyone.
Warm and inviting. I love the fireplace. Very reasonable prices. Attentive staff. Great variety of Mediterranean food much of which is not easy to find Fresh and healthy
Good, friendly service. Good atmosphere with plenty of seating. Average Mediterranean food with a decent variety on menu. Would be cooler if they had more Greek or Levantine wine or inspired cocktails.
Walked in to Andie's after like a decade when visiting Chicago. Food was lovely. Service was on point. The waitress came and asked us a few times how the food was and also got our water glasses filled a couple of times. Would love to visit again when I am in town.
The staff couldn't have been nicer. My party sat for a long time and we felt very welcome and taken care of. I inadvertently ordered a dish with curry, which I am mildly allergic to, and the manager was not only very concerned, but also replaced the dish. Very courteous, the food was delicious.
Brought our two kids here. The food was delicious, and seriously service was the best! They brought us crayons and even little gifts that kept them occupied.
Everything here was really delicious. I highly recommend the taster salad platter.
Really enjoyed pretty much everything there. Amazing flavorful food (I ordered Lamb eggplant tagine with couscous and lentos soup) and the sangria was fresh and strong! Even though the service was a little off; perhaps a little too attentive, or maybe a little pushy; their food totally made up for it! Strongly recommended.
Great spot for some amazing authentic food! Dolma served warm with red sauce. And you can get a flight of wine! Try the flaming cheese it is mouthwatering.
Loved this restaurant! I was in the area for a massage appointment and was hungry. I was craving salmon. (I'm a gluten-free, dairy-free pescatarian.) Andies salmon salad came up in my search, so I decided to try it. It was so good! I loved the atmosphere as well and the service was good too! I highly recommend this place and the salmon salad! I will be going there again after my next massage ... going to make this a routine. Oh, and they have gluten-free pita bread!
I was headed to the place next door but they were pretty slammed so I decided to go to Andie's instead, and I'm thrilled that's where I ended up! I had my pup with me, who they were lovely about accommodating, and the service was very good in general.
But the star is the food. Wowza. I had the #1 veggie combination plate, and chose spinach pie, dolmades, baba ganoush and falafel for my four items.
In fairness, I've never had a bad dolma (stuffed grape leaves) but these were truly excellent. The falafel really sang too, with gorgeous crispy exterior, flavorful spiced interior topped with a bright, creamy hummus. Yum yum yum. The baba ganoush was delish with the warm pita bread, while the spinach pie was quite good, if a little less than the other items.
I didn't love the Cabernet I chose, but it was perfectly drinkable and I was still obviously really happy with my meal.
Thanks Andie's! I'm sure my pup and I will be back before long!
The food was very delicious, we had a Gyro's & a Greek salad, the place was very clean & the service was great , I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone . ( Been over 30 years since I've been here ,glad to see it's still here ) Thank you for such a great experience..
