Honestly, what is not to love about this place? Tucked away into a lovely little corner of Lincoln Park, full of kitschy charm and delicious bites lies the Bourgeois Pig Cafe. We chose a cafe table outside (because the inside was full - we're looking at you, solo diner who took the largest table all to yourself during lunch hour 🤨) and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Two sodas, two bags of chips, and two rather large sandwiches set us back around $33 after tip. A little pricey? Yes. But also, our sandwiches were very tasty and, as mentioned, large!

A very nice place for getting work done and some lunch— if there is seating. I feel like there’s never any spots available. Turns into a speak easy at night. Wait time took a long time but girl taking orders extremely friendly and personable on 11/3/23 and makes a hell of a difference.

Great place for coffee and sandwiches. Nice outdoor seating area, unique Great Gatsby type of vibe inside. Large menu of sandwiches and panini. The panini were very good, not cheap, but they were big, so the price is fair. The cappuccino I had was really good, but I wish there were mugs for dine-in guests. Paper cups don't do justice to the lavish 1920s decor. I really enjoyed my visit here and will definitely come back on my next trip to Chicago!

It’s a vibe, go here. The first time —my sandwich took 40 minutes to get to me, which is an extremely wild wait time for a sandwich. But it was a Sunday, so I’ll let it go. I didn’t realize it came with chips until my second trip here. Nevertheless, it’s a vibe at night to study there, it seems like you are in a movie, it’s dope. The food is okay, but the drinks are awesome. All the staff members are wearing cool hats, I respect that’s. Check it out.

We got a regular iced latte and a Chai Tea Latte to go. Flavors were good, but I will try the large selection of teas next time. The environment definitely lives up to the “bourgeois” name and would be a great place to get some work done. Limited seating spaces indoors, but they also have nice patio seating outside. A cool coffee spot for sipping coffee and tea with pinkys up ☕️

Had the Hobbit Sandwich, pecan pie, chocolate chip scone, and Jamaican latte. Everything was five stars. However it was pretty crowded when we got there and the wait was pretty long. I would say the serving sizes and the taste make the food definitely worth the wait; but probably not the best choice if you're on the clock. The location is elegant, academic, and a bit hipster-y, a good place to bring clients or your in-laws for lunch if you want to impress with a sense of culture + value for money.

Good little spot that clearly is a fav of others as well in the neighborhood. Got the hobbit and the secret garden sammie. It was good minus the avocado that was…not ripe at all. It’s tucked on the side of the street in a home that’s been repurposed. There is outside seating in a little garden like vibe. Space and quiet enough to study. Open floor plan once inside but stairs to get inside and uneven footing in the garden seating.

Cute spot. I got a Turkey sandwich and it was tasty but nothing special. The atmosphere however is very cozy. There’s tons of seating and an amazing saxophone and guitar duo playing outside.

The food and coffees are amazing. We come here nearly weekly. But, this place needs an “eat it and beat it” policy. Every time we come, we see the main indoor areas filled with people on their laptops doing work, and they haven’t ordered anything in a while. It forces people to eat outside even in the fall when it’s 40 degrees. Would be 5/5 if they didn’t let people loiter for hours in the dining area.

Nice vibe.. the upstairs has a nice speakeasy bar for reservations only which was nice. Bartender was friendly and cocktails were good.

A laid back Lincoln Park hangout with a unique aesthetic. The Bourgeois Pig is a welcome break from your second wave coffee shop. If you’re considering sipping on coffee while reading Tolstoy, it’s hard to think of a rival to the Pig. The focaccia cushioned sandwiches are also worthy of praise.

I stopped by to study, The barista was very friendly. The overall vibe of the place is extremely chill. I liked there choice of music as it was oldies. I recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

My favorite cafe in the Lincoln Park area. Plenty of seats indoors and outdoors, but the patio is what I enjoy the most. There are a variety of seats inside (a patio and two floors inside) where some people play chess, read, study, or whatever. The sandwiches and the coffee are delicious. I always get the 24 ounce slow drip cold brew, which is $3.50.

I am a student and it was my first time coming here. I heard it was really good and today I actually had time, which was really exciting! I ordered “The Great Gatsby” and it was good. Although it was a little soggy but I didn’t mind. I was a little shocked with the pricing but my experience made up for it. The wait wasn’t that long even with a bunch of people in the front. It was a little crowded but it is expected because I came during rush hour. I mostly came here for the ambiance and it delivered! It was intimidating seeing all the people in the front window but I learned that there was seating upstairs as well! I think this is a great study place and would come here again. Keep up the good work!

Great place to enjoy lunch sandwiches with exquisite choice of coffee and tea, among other things. When you dining out in the patio area, be aware of birds droppings though :)

A intimate coffee shop with character. The trend of okd houses or apartment s with multiple rooms and a little funky. Has good coffee, pastries and lite food. These places are special for a couple of hours working or reading and just relaxing. Indoor and outdoor seating. The patio will be nice when the weather turns
