Authentic puertorican food. The atmosphere was amazing, the restaurant is covered in murals and the salsa music playing in the background adds to the ambience. If your ever in the Logan Square area and are willing to try or are craving a homemade dish from back home they have all you need! The servers are polite and quick to bring your food. I will definitely be returning!

When you walk in the first thing you see is like a take out area. In fact, if you don't know there is a restaurant in the back, you'll probably think the take-out area IS the restaurant. Once you make your way into the back, the first thing you see is the wall murals. Traditional puertorican art of jibaros, people playing dominoes en el campo and more. Now let's talk about the food. I had the Mofongo con Chicharron de Pollo and a side order of tostones. I think the mofongo was on point. The plantains were not ripe, it was season just right and had the perfect texture. The chicken was seasoned well and fried perfectly and it went well with the mofongo. The waiter was friendly and it had a memory of an elephant. He took all of our orders with out writing anything down and got them all right. The only thing I was not happy about is that they have no air conditioning. I ask and I was told by a regular there that it's been like that for ever. I had a good time and I'm definitely coming back.

This is by far the best Puerto Rican restaurant in Chicago. Food and service are amazing! We love celebrating many occasions here. Especially birthdays and Father’s Day.

My first time trying Puerto Rican food and it did not disappoint. Ordered the Pinchos de Puerco and Pinchos de Pollo, our server’s recommendation of a well seasoned and tasteful appetizer. Unfortunately couldn’t get a picture of it because it was that good and we dug right in. Trying the Jibarito de Bistec was a unique experience because of the plantain substitution for bread. Really good when had hot and freshly prepared. Loved the spice and flavorful food here!

Drove 45 mins to get to the north side because my family and I wanted Puerto Rican food. Ended up at La Bomba and to my surprise they were getting ready to close. I asked the man there if he knew about another spot open and he said “I’ll take care of you” “I’ll fire up the grill again”. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and work ethic of this family owned business! Thanks again for doing this for us! Dios Bendiga su negocio.
