MY GOD!!!! I can’t tell you how much I swear by this place, I try to visit at least once or every other week. My favorite sandwich is “The Fisherman”. I always get that sandwich with a sea salt bagel and a plain toasted poppy seed bagel on the side. Delicious!!! So fresh and just the bagel itself is so good. Very friendly hospitality. Love you guys!!
Great bagels, coffee, service and prices. It is always pretty crowded when I go on weekend mornings, but it never takes too long. Reliable spot for a weekend morning treat. The Bageler and any bagel with cream cheese are my go tos. Lots of menu left to explore.

The fisherman is the best bagel & lox I’ve had in Chicago. I love that you can tell the bagel is made fresh in-house - perfect chew and crisp. 10/10
I had high expectations since so many of the reviews said these were the best they’ve had besides in nyc. I got the sea salt bagel with the garlic chive cream cheese. The cream cheese was amazing, but the bagel was a bit chewy. I still enjoyed the bagel and I would come back and try a different bagel. It was very busy when we came in but we didn’t have to wait too long.
The bagels here are great they have many options for bagels and shmears. The menu is endless with suggested sandwiches or make your own bagel sandwich- the prices are great too. There is plenty of seating available and street parking is available in front.
Very busy. But definitely worth the 10 minute wait. You can tell a bagel shop is good when the line is out the door. I recommend the jalapeño bagel with cream cheese. You really can’t go wrong with anything here.
that was the BEST bagel sandwich i’ve had since i was in NYC 🤩🤩 it was so good and the service was very fast!! a lil pricey yes but it was so worth it!!! it was gone no crumbs in less than 5 minutes 🥵

Super tasty bagels and drinks at a reasonable price. I got The Bageler, which I highly suggest because that spicy mayo on there was delicious, and even though there were a lot of people there, it came out in about 10 minutes. The Iced Chai was solid, too, and came out in about 5 min. Not a ton of seating, but it felt like people ate and left, so you should be able to find a spot to sit and eat if you want. Will definitely be back to try other bagels.
We like the everything bagel and the jalapeno cheddar bagel with the with the garlic chive spread. Good drinks for most anyone's taste. It's often crowded but the staff are friendly and efficient at getting orders out. Next time I'm trying the cinnamon raisin bagel with the Irish butter. Prices are a little high but okay for the city. We stop whenever we're visiting in the area.
Sooo good! One of the best bagels we‘ve had so far, huge recommendation! Try the cinnamon bagel with the honey nut spread. The coffee is also great.
Love this place! Great coffee and food, super chill atmosphere. It can get crowded on weekend but I can usually find a spot. The bagels are dairy free but they don't have any gluten free options. The coffee drinks are always really good. They have a Print Kiosk for college kids as well!
I had a wonderful experience at the bageler! The staff was so friendly and the food was AMAZING! I would highly recommend the bageler breakfast sandwich! Can’t wait to go back!
Bought the Fisherman’s bagel and it was divine! The staff was also very friendly DMT and attentive. I had initially gotten the wrong bagel for my “to go” order, so I came back and let the staff know. They immediately replaced my bagel with the Bageler and were very professional and courteous throughout the whole process.
Holy moly that’s a good bagel. I ordered two thinking I’d save one for tomorrow but I’m currently eating my second while I type because I simply couldn’t wait. The bagler on everything was a perfect start to my morning and now I’m enjoying a “desert” of chocolate chip with strawberry cream cheese.
A quaint, lovely little bagel stop offering a good selection of sandwich and coffee/warm beverage options. My husband and I both got the Fisherman sandwich, his with the jalapeño cheddar bagel, and mine with the everything bagel. Both were very delicious! Definitely ask for extra capers on this sandwich though. It needs that salty, briny kick to bring that extra level of goodness to the experience, and I found the sandwich a little lacking there, so I asked for extra.
And the drink I got was to die for! Definitely consider trying the bourbon vanilla chai latte if you stop in!
Be prepared for a decent chunk of a bill though. Our sandwiches were about $12 each, and my drink was $5, plus decent tax, so our total was around $32.
All aside, this was a lovely spot! I'd definitely give it another try in the future.
