What an awesome spot under the tracks! Great food and a huge drink selection. Always get really polite service when we go in as a group for meetings or even just a date! Nicole the event manager is quick and efficient with coordinating private events and parties! I highly recommend this place for anything from casual burger eating to formal events like wedding receptions!
One of my favorite venues in the city both to play at and see a show at. Amazing beer selection, great food, awesome staff, and most importantly killer sound. Had some of my favorite memories at this place and would absolutely recommend to anyone
Best venue in the city. Best staff in the city hands down. Most of my favorite bands come threw here and sound is on point. Always doing a great a job of contributing to Chicago’s local scene too.
Amazing venue! Love playing and attending shows here! The food is on point and the staff is excellent!
I live this venue. I wish the speakers had more of a low end. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed watching Ne obliscaris & Beyond creation. Best feature about this venue in particular, is how they have 2 self serve water stations. More venues should take note.
Great intimate venue! Seen multiple dozens of shows here. Hip hop. Punk rock. Ska. Great for all genres. Owner is a great human being. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable of their products.
Got tickets for family member for a Smoking Popes concert and they liked it. Said it was kinda small, so it was good because you heard the music anywhere you stood and could also see the band.. Because it's a smaller venue, make sure to bring your ear plugs.
This place was a great place to listen to live music. The sound was great, not distorted, like in other smaller venues.
I came here to see Riverside. Cool place to check out local and touring bands. The venue was nice. I liked the ambiance, also a great place for meeting with friends for a casual night or a date night. The staff was friendly, and the service was fast. Variety of draft beer selections with reasonable prices.
Really nice place to see a show. Good sound quality. Small venue, so a good view of the stage from anywhere in the room. Drinks were ridiculously priced, but no higher than would be expected in any other similar venue in this location. We only bought one drink each though, because of it. Left the show and went somewhere where the drinks were half the price as in the Bottom Lounge. We spoke with several other people who all had the same plan. Bottom Lounge is leaving a lot of money on the table by charging so much for drinks. Guess they feel it's better to sell one drink for 10 bucks each than it is to sell eight or ten drinks for five bucks each. Whatever works.
We got married in the upstairs/event space and loved having our wedding at Bottom Lounge! Natalie was amazing throughout the entire process and made the day so smooth and the venue absolutly beautiful! The staff and Natalie are all super sweet and so helpful throughout the wedding process and the day of. The food was also super yummy and the drinks were great! We loved being able to get married at a concert venue we love and couldn't recommend it enough!
The staff is always really nice here. From id to ticket check, it’s just nice when someone doesn’t scream or repeat instructions at you. The sound is decent, and seemed much better the last few times I’ve gone. Reasonably priced drinks too.
Fabulous venue. They let us in the bar/restaurant more than an hour before doors opened for our event. This was nice because then we could use their bathrooms and order their drinks/food. They also had a re-admittance policy which great
The food was decent; plenty of open space, bigger inside than how it appears on the outside. The concert area is standing room only, please wear comfortable shoes, lbvs. I went to the Eric Bellinger concert on 3/18/23, VIP of course.
