Uncommon Ground - Chicago - Photo album

Had a really nice evening at Uncommon Ground! There is definitely an upscale / hipster vibe, but it's still casual. They have an impressive drink selection, and the food was terrific! I was especially impressed by the gnocchi, and would definitely recommend it. I will be coming back! Just FYI it is
This is such an enjoyable place to have brunch in a garden and listen to Frank Sinatra. They make a really great lemon pepper aioli here. If you're looking for farm fresh to table, then this place is it.
Delicious food and amazing atmosphere. We had aesthetics and gourmet pleasure. The service was good as well. I definitely recommend to check out this place during summer.
First of all, we were there on a beautiful day so sitting outside with all the gorgeous plants was a treat. The meal was great! We did brunch and I loved that they used their freshly grown veggies in the meal. Our server was was so sweet and helpful. This place will definitely become one of go to fa
My husband and I came to uncommon ground for the first time to see a friend play at one of their Thursday night shows. Upon entry there appeared to be no one in the entire restaurant (customers or employees). Though we did see a bunch of people sitting outside on the patio. We were greeted after a f
Nice location. Has its own parking lot. Nice seating inside and outside. No rooftop seating as that is where the vegetables grow. Menu is decent. I found it to be about 4 stars. Decent quality. Some food items were great while others were ok.
Enjoyed a bloody Mary and app/soup at the bar. Bartender was great, and makes an amazing bloody with pickle juice added. So good! Sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly, served with a goat cheese dip that I will probably dream about. The blended celeriac and coconut milk soup was an unexpected fla
The staff, quality of food, atmosphere, and neighborhood make this restaurant worth a visit. With a focus on service and fresh ingredients, you will not be disappointed.
The food and drinks were very good but the live music was the thing that earned the place 5 stars. We had a blues artist called Casey Lee playing the night we had dinner their. They are taking very good precautions for covid-19. I would highly recommend especially for vegans and vegetarians
Nice outdoor space. My boyfriend said the meatloaf was the best he's ever had. The rice noodle salad was a disappointment for the price ($15). Lots of noodles and peanuts, but just 5 thin slices of cucumber and 5 slices of radish; I was expecting more from the description. When we said as much to th
Great restaurant altogether. Service was fast and waiter had good recommendations. Good gluten free beer and cocktails too. Perfect date spot
Such a great place! I loved the atmosphere and our sever was very friendly.
Food was good. Very vegetarian friendly. Fairly prompt service despite a busy time of day. The garden/patio has a nice ambience and a play area for children. Would highly recommend as a family dinner spot if you have kids under 10, and/or a mix of vegetarian and omnivores in your group.
