Delicious. Very authentic. Loved the Potstickers, especially the Vegetable ones. The only issue we had is they brought our main courses out one at a time, instead of all together. Other then that, excellent place. Will go back for sure!

Smoked pork pancakes, soup dumplings, eggplant, everything here was amazing. I once ordered 5 to go orders of the pancakes and took them as my dish to a potluck. Amazingly awesome food.

This Chinese restaurant tastes great. It should be the best Chinese food I have ever eaten in the United States. The price is also very cheap. The service is very warm. I will always come back. Highly recommended.

I liked this place a lot - i originally went for the xiao long boas (soup dumplings) and i thought they were good in portion sizes, nice and fresh, and had lots of soup within them. i wasn’t the biggest fan of the textures, but the flavors were good overall. i also really enjoyed their other fried treats like scallion pancakes

I've always wanted to come here to find very specific Chinese dishes that I've seen on Instagram but never got a chance to try. They were on point on service for how late we showed up and everything came out the way I had imagined. The jellyfish salad here actually has vinegar in it for the tangy flavor that other places fail at. I would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.

Delicious cuisine. Very vegan friendly. Staff knows what's vegan or vegetarian. Very friendly and accommodating. A little on the salty side, but not enough to ruin it. Just extra thirsty. Unfortunately, we didn't like the soybean milk. It was underwhelming. The bao zi and dumplings are amazing! We preferred the steamed dumplings or bao zi to the pan fried ones. Loved the noodle and fried rice as well. Great chive cakes (has egg). Although the rice would be better without the frozen peas and carrots. Highly recommend!

The garlic eggplant is one of the best dishes of Chinese food I’ve ever had. Truly. I don’t live in the neighborhood anymore but I make it a point to come when I can. It’s always worth it.

Authentic northeastern Chinese food. They also have these unique long potstickers that’s quite juicy. The clear wide cold noodles, sweet & sour pork cutlets, and fried dough are some distinct dongbei cuisine that you don’t see at most Chinese restaurants. Give it a try if you are in the area.

This place blew me away! The eggplant Beijing style is a must! It’s like they flash fry it before they stir fry it. It’s crusty and delicious. We also had stir fried noodles with pork and bokchoy and mushrooms. The dumplings are homemade and yummy (no photo). And then the green beans! I love how they good the green beans with all the garlic and yumminess. This restaurant was accommodating for FOOD ALLERGIES! We had shellfish/mollusk allergy and NO spicy food either. They were wonderful and were able to accommodate it all. I will be back! I’m so happy about the parking and outdoor seating. This place had outdoor dog friendly seating.

Two dishes stood out as top tasters. ⭐️ The sugar pull on the sweet potato 🍠 is definitely worthy another trip in. 💫 The twice cooked beef reminiscent of Panda Express’s Beijing beef had better sauce and better frying where it is crunchy on the outside but tender inside. 💫 The vinegar potato 🥔 slices 😐 neither sour nor spicy enough. Consistency could be a bit crunchier. The signature potstickers 🥟 oh goodness. Lackluster. The signature lamb….ok won’t be a repeat for us.

The food is definitely superb! I couldn't say this is the best northern Chinese food(only been to this one.), but it absolutely represent the northern cuisine style! Free parking lot on the side is a plus. Great service too!

Delicious dishes! There's surely a language deficit but it didn't hinder the service. The service was attentive and they did follow up on how we enjoyed the food. Casual dining with very clean interior. Free parking which is a plus! Located directly across from the police station. Easy to find! A must try!

What a gem for northern Chinese food in Bridgeport! It is very homey, the staff is friendly, and very well priced for the portions and delicious food. I honestly loved it and am already looking forward to coming back! We split the beef noodle soup (best we have had in Chicago with plenty of noodles and not too much soup), the smoked duck crispy dough pouches and the long bread filled with meat. See photos as I’m not sure what they were called! Absolutely loved all of them and were so stuffed between two people for a total of $23 before tip.

We saw this restaurant on Chicago’s Best and we really enjoyed it. I liked the dumplings better than the potstickers and the sweet and sour pork was delicious. The menu is difficult to read (wish I would have seen the takeaway menu). We also tried the fried dough and it was good. They could also upgrade serving dishes (plastic baskets, sauces in plastic cups with plastic spoons). Service was good. Prices were reasonable for portions and very huge variety of choices.

We got a few things to share here, all recommendations from one of the waiters. We got bao buns, northern style fried dough, dumplings, soup dumplings, and sweet and sour chicken. Everything tasted pretty good, though the flavors didn’t distinguish themselves all that much. I did have minor nitpicks with all the dishes though - The bao buns were good, though the meat was all packed in the center so some bites all dough and some bites all meat. The fried dough dish we got reminded me of Malaysian paratha, but it was tough to break apart and the sauce didn’t go with the dough I thought. The soup dumplings were pretty great through and through. The sweet and sour chicken was alright but I just wished the sauce was actually mixed with the chicken for us. Maybe that’s less traditional though.
