My friend and I visited Taste 222 for the first time yesterday and it didn’t disappoint. I loved the ambiance and the old school r&b music. I ordered the Kale salad and added Chicken, I liked the sweetness of the Cranberries in the salad, because Kale is usually really strong, but this salad wasn’t.
this place was SO GOOD! it's mostly a lunch place i think but we popped in for a light dinner and we could still order from the lunch menu and the "bites" on the happy hour menu were amazing and the perfect size since i wasn't too hungry! empanadas, fries, macaroni, kale salad- everything was so goo

Just had a business lunch today. Very impressed the the service from the hostess to our server. Friendly and helpful. I had the fresh salmon poke and it was fantastic. Looking forward to coming back soon.

The Creole Shrimp is Amazing. This is one of the few upscale minority owned restaurants that I’ve encountered. The staff is extremely friendly and prices are very reasonable given the quality of the food. I will absolutely be back again.
Amazing experience! Cool to hear the story and larger purpose of the restaurant. Innovative in their data collection and analysis. The Chef Matera (spelling) came out to share about the vision of the food. We had a party of ten people and enjoyed many servings.

Visited last week with my wife she love the place great food and service!!! They have a guy works there by the name of Chris he’s excellent I literally watched him handle table after table great kid with manners my wife loves him she even gave him a speech about it. Definitely visit again soon!!
