Salvatore's was the perfect venue for our reception. The layout is gorgeous both inside and out-- the interior showcases classic fixtures to complement the patio's incredible lighting and ambience. The service was sharp, and staff was refreshingly responsive, flexible and communicative during the quoting process. Suzi and Lauran were great to work with for our spectacular day!
Good food. Excellent wait staff. Nice place for a wedding. The rooms have an oldish antique look about them. Valet parking was very reasonable.

My nephew and his wife had their wedding at Salvatore's's and I was very impressed, it was one of the nicest ones I've attended. It was a great venue, service was excellent and the food was delicious. I was very impressed. Very elegant ad wonderful ambiance! Very memorable event!
Salvatore's Ristorante was the perfect venue for our wedding! We got married here on June 6, 2015. Everything and I mean everything was fabulous!!! Suzi and Amanda are great to work with! They go above and beyond to help with everything. The food is amazing!! The entire Salvatore's staff is top notch and did I mention the food is amazing?!!! :) All of our guests couldn't stop complimenting on how everything was wonderful. If you are considering Salvatore's- say yes immediately!!! We can't wait to go back!

Murder Mystery Dinner was fun and exciting
This review is a little late, but we had our wedding here at Salvatore's on May 21st and we had the most amazing, perfect day all thanks to Salvatore's!! The venue itself is gorgeous & its located in the beautiful Lincoln Park neighborhood. Everything about this venue is amazing--the food, the location, the service, & the management. You can tell that they take so much pride in what they do. Marco & Renata were extremely helpful throughout the whole process as well as our day-of coordinator Erin who brought our vision to life that day!! Erin is a total rockstar and took the stress off my shoulders from the moment I arrived! She was extremely helpful leading up to the wedding & the day of. She truly took care of us that day and we are SO grateful! Our guests raved about the food, drinks, and of course--the tiramisu!! Many of them said it was the best wedding they had attended & we have this amazing venue to thank for that! Thank you Salvatore's for making our wedding day so special!!
The staff was very attentive and professional. They made us feel at home. The crab puffs and calamari were delicious. The salad was lovely, and the salmon was done perfectly. I heard that the meatballs and steak were delicious, as well. We had a great, intimate evening and it felt private, but we knew the staff was there if we needed them.
We got married here a few weeks ago and had the best experience! Marco and Renata are responsive and so patient with all questions/ concerns. The venue is so beautiful and unique in the city; you will barely need to think about additional decor. Guests were raving about the food and had the best time. Also, their preferred vendors list was fantastic and linked us with other people who made our day an absolute blast for everyone!

When looking for a venue, we had many things that were important to us: Atmosphere, Location, Affordability, lgbt friendly, and somewhere that didn’t require us to do a lot of extra leg work. We wanted our wedding to be and to feel upscale, and to be beautiful and Salvatore’s delivered flawlessly on all counts. We had a small 50 person wedding which post Covid is referred to as a micro wedding. Marco helped us with each phase of our wedding from the tour of the venue and walk through of what is included, from our tasting which was so so fun and delicious, to the excellent vendor recommendations. Fast forward to our wedding day, we had their amazing coordinator Renata who went above and beyond to make things run smoothly.
Everyone says that not everything will go perfectly on their wedding, but they must not have had their wedding at Salvatore’s. Our day was so flawless… with a smaller guest count, we got to spend time with each other, we got to enjoy the delicious food, and our guests literally danced all night . The space was absolute perfection and we could not have asked for a better day. Our only regret is that we will only get married once! Thank you to Salvatore’s!
My wife and I had our reception here at the end of July 2022 and it was a phenomenal experience! Marco and Renata went the extra mile and were always available to answer questions when we had them. Their guidance and support was a huge key to the success of our night!
The space is perfect for 100-150 guests and the food is fantastic as well. I don’t think you can find a better deal of food, event space, and overall experience in Chicago. If you are having a wedding in the area, check them out!
We had our wedding at Salvatore's October 13, 2023 and it was everything and more all because of the staff at Salvatore's! From Marco and Renata, to Erin our day of coordinator, and most importantly the serving staff. The staff made us, my family, and all of our guests feel like royalty with their attention and care. It was also a very rainy day on our wedding day and I don't remember the floor being wet or having any residue on it at all. I truly don't know how they do what they do but look no further if you are wanting a wedding that people talk about after. I haven't even mentioned the food yet and OMG...again my guests say they never enjoyed a wedding meal more than ours at Salvatore's. I seriously will recommend to all my friends just to get a chance to go back and experience it again. Thank you Salvatore's for an amazing experience!

I cannot say enough how amazing from start to finish our experience was with Salvatore's in hosting our wedding reception! Marco, Renata, and all of the serving staff were incredible off the bat. We hosted a 120 person reception on December 10th, 2022 - our cocktail hour start at 5PM and went to 6PM, we had 4 passed appetizers (initially I was worried this wouldn't be enough and that we needed an app "table" of sorts) but it was plentiful. The servers were constantly coming around offering up different plates and they were great. Starting off the cocktail hour I had a little hair malfunction that kept me up and the staff were so kind as to stop by me first to provide a bite before heading out to serve the guests - so thoughtful! The bar was never crowded and you had no issue getting a drink with this size of party and staff provided. Dinner was served promptly and piping-hot, family style per their suggestion. I received so so so many compliments on the food afterward and on the choice to go family style! It really encourages people to talk to one another at the table as they pass around the plates. I was a bit worried having a bunch of former D1 athletes that they wouldn't be fed enough but there was much to go around and more than enough to satiate the booze that followed. The tiramisu was an awesome dessert option for me as I am not a big wedding-cake person. We also had a few of Salvatore's preferred vendors as well - Sholeh Munion coordinated and Okyne Media Lab provided a pianist/saxophone duo for cocktail hour and a DJ. Remarkable vendors to work with and obviously Salvatore's chose wisely when they included them as preferred!
After the dancing and drinking had finished, we packed up and headed down the street to top off our night with our younger friends as Gaslight Village (2 minute walk down the corner). The area is super convenient to host a reception - our room block was at The Drake and people had no problem at all taking ubers/lyfts from the reception to the hotel.
1000000/10 overall experience, I would pick them over and over again given the chance!

If you are looking for a stunning venue with unbelievable service & food, look no further!
VENUE - The layout of this venue is unique with multiple rooms serving multiple purposes. We loved having our dinner separate from our dancing - it made for nice transitions throughout the event, and gave our guests the opportunity to sit and enjoy or be out on the dance floor. The rooms look classic & stunning with low light and candles. Added bonus was the outdoor area, perfect for a little break from dancing!
SERVICE - Every single member of the staff was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and professional - special shoutout to Erin, Marco, & Camryn! Every person made us feel that it was as important to them as it was to us that the day went perfectly. They were flexible and adaptable to the progression of the evening.
FOOD & BEVERAGE - Everyone can't stop talking about the Tortellini & the Tiramisu! The portion sizes were huge & everyone cleared their plates because the food was so good. The champagne & wine were especially lovely, we got many compliments on the selection!
Thank you, Salvatore's, for a wedding that surpassed all our expectations. We couldn't recommend this venue enough - we look forward to coming back for another event in the future!
I loved having my wedding at Salvatore's. Marco and Erin and the of the team are so so helpful and willing to go above and beyond. The food is incredible. If you are doing any event there the risotto cakes our a must. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
I had my 130 person wedding there in Feb 2019. The planners were SO helpful and accommodating. The venue was perfect for what I wanted -- an old time Chicago romantic feel. Everyone RAVED about the food. We offered three entrees: the tortellini, the filet, and chicken. Originally we only wanted to offer the steak and chicken but the pasta was to die for. We also had the tiramisu as our cake and it was the best! The dance floor was spacious and the two bars were ideal for our group that loved to have a good time. There was never a long wait for a beverage. We had a dessert bar at the back bar as well. Tips: Have DJ test audio, I don't think he was loud enough when announcing first dance etc. Also, make sure the GPS has you going to the front entry. Although we provided valet, many people were dropped off in their uber around the block because the map wasn't correct. They may have fixed this by now.
