I was here a few weeks ago for my bachlorette party. The staff was very, very attentive and sweet. They upgraded my group from one of their meduim cabanas to their large one so everyone was able to spread out and have a good time. The heat was unbearable this particular day and the staff even turned on this huge fan for us ladies. Thanks for making this beach day a memorable one. I will definitely be returning! P.S. try their chopped Mediterranean salad and add lemon pepper shrimp. Best. Salad. Ever!
Food was delicious & came out in a timely manner. Everyone was so sweet and accommodating. Our waitress Mendy made the experience X10 better � 10/10 recommend this spot

A place with a location this awesome could easily get away with just phoning it in on the food. They don't. The variety and quality of the food is excellent, they have more GF items than just about any restaurant that I've been to and they also have a nice selection of "skinny" cocktails. Also, it's dog-friendly! Did I cover everything? 😀
We happened upon Caffe Olivia on our walk from Navy Pier. It was a perfect place to stop while the kids played on the beach. Chef Jimmy welcomed us and the service was great. We had the fish tacos, which were the best I've had in a long time.
Love this little gem! The perfect spot to catch the sunset over the city.

Wow! Loved this place! Absolute hidden gem (in my opinion) since I live a little further north. The views cannot be beat, makes you remember why you love to live in Chicago. The vibe was relaxed/beach casual. Would see this being an amazing lunch/dinner or work HH spot.
The service was amazing and we were checked on and accommodated heavily by most of the staff but Alejandro was our main server and he was AMAZING. So much personality, enthusiasm and passion for the menu and the food. He was not wrong. The food was better than expected for a lakefront spot. It didn’t have to be good with those views, but THE ERIE BURGER. I will dream about that burger.
10/10 would recommend for a fun, casual spot for food and drinks with friends who appreciate an amazing Chicago skyline/beach/lake view.
Great spot to enjoy if your at the beach or want to enjoy a nice beach view! They have a nice array of cocktails and food items. Simple a easy place to go to enjoy your time before the Navy Pier!
Our 49th anniversary! Beautiful evening and we were treated so special. Conversations with two servers and manager came by our table to congratulate us! Comped the dessert and gave discount! Hidden jem with great food and views!
Fantastic place. Like a beach club in South of France. Chicken wings were wonderful but atmosphere is what makes that place FUN. Try it !
Great people. Alejandro bartender is wonderful, ,we have known him for couple years. And Anna Irish waitress is not only gorgeous but also very efficient and friendly !
Great restaurant on the beach! Casual and chill, with great vibes. Open access to view the skyline, the water, and situated on the beach with the option to sit on a patio with your toes in the sand! Visiting from Louisiana and it did not disappoint. Ordered the St Caprese Panini added bacon with sweet potato fries. Would recommend!
We stopped by for 1 drink because of the beautiful beach setting. We wound up staying for 6 rounds of drinks plus food because Alejandro's playlist was amazing. We felt like we were at a beach party, and didn't want to leave. The Cajun shrimp tacos were really good too.
Fun and super nice r restaurant/bar on the Ohio St. beach front. My son and I stopped in for some beverages to kill time while we waited for our boat tour. The staff were super nice and didn’t pressure us to hurry and purchase more than our drinks, they treated us nicely and gave us great service. If ever I’m in Chicago again and spending the day on the beach I’d definitely return.
Lake and city views! Stumbled upon this place before catching a flight home! Fun open air, feet in sand bar/restaurant! Nothing fancy but the food was good, the staff was kind and attentive and the owner pointed out different kinds of birds and helped give our friend directions to find us! Great little beach spot on the lake with views of the water and the skyline! Not fancy but fun!
We had an errand to run nearby and decided to give this place a try for an early lunch. What a pleasant surprise! Great views, great food, and excellent service. We had the souvlaki and a salad, both were tasty and our service was excellent. We’ll be back!
Good for location. Solid menu of mixed food items. Fish tacos were good and beer and margaritas were good as well. Service was friendly and quick to review food allergens of my friend. Overall would go back to here again if I was at the beach…. But would not go out if my way to try this spot
Came here on a sunny Saturday in June so as one would expect, it was busy. We were lucky enough to get a table which was good because there is not a lot of standing room without getting in someone's way. The service was fairly quick especially given how busy they were, with both table service and ordering at the bar. They were not accepting cash which didn't really matter to us. The beer and mixed drink selection was decent. If you can get there early enough or are just lucky enough to snag a table I would definitely recommend. Hard to beat sitting on the beach enjoying a cold beverage on a sunny Chicago summer day. ⛱️ 🌞
Wonderful waiter... he was very attentive. I ordered the lamb burger (yummy). My husband had the fish tacos and great sweet potato fries. And, we enjoyed nice cold drinks on a hot Chicago Day at the Ohio Beach 🏖️. Thank you.
It's beautiful. Right on the beach and as relaxing as can be. Though it would be better if the beach wasn't accessible by everyone. The food was not great and they mixed our drink orders up, the drinks were also very light on the alcohol. However. I still gave them four stars because the day I was there they also had a wedding going on. My server was very sweet and attentive.
