You can't say enough good things about this place. The people are great, the coffee is killer, and every drink they make is fantastic. They have something for anyone, no matter what you're drinking. Pourover, lattes, nitro cold brew (!), cocktails, craft beer on tap, wine, sake, etc!
It's not just for coffee!
Love this place. I can stop for coffee or any drink and one of their delicious miniature donuts in the middle of my 606 bike ride. The mini donuts are simply amazing. Beyond any
other one I've ever tried.
And the servers are top notch.
My favorite place.
Great Chicago coffee house. We went to this place every morning when I was visiting my sister in Chicago.

Amazing coffee, great service and ambiance. Had a V60 and even though the shop was really busy, the girl making it took the time to let me smell the grinds and explain the coffee/water ratios. Loved it!
Quality beverages and donuts (they mill the flour)! I love the overall vibe, especially enjoy the transformation into a bar in the evening. And super cool that they have guest chefs! Get the beet and sage drink. The presentation is wonderful. I love the color and the floating sage leaf!
Absolutely loved the late vibe for coffee and a jasmine mini-donut. Will definitely return as the Chai Latte was delicious.
Amazing cocktails! The atmosphere at night is great. Love this spot after a stroll on the 606.
Amazing coffee. Nice atmosphere. And even beer in the evening hours. Win! Try to get a seat near the windows overlooking the 606.
Great coffee, great ambiance, great wine... and great food!
Get the paper menu from the counter.
Get the mini doughnuts!
Great vibe, great coffee!
Loved the ambiance and the late night menu with wine and snacks :)
I was introduced to the shop in Bucktown by my friend, Mark Rose. We met there for a long overdue catch-up; it had been 2+ years earlier when we last saw each other (we worked for the same Chicago-based technology company). Anyway, the coffee that morning was perfect. And even better are the grounds that I'm using in my cafetière here in London (Brazil now, Panama next). Each cup of java is outstanding. Thank you.
Great ambiance. Great coffee. Wonderful and friendly staff.
I came in on a Thursday morning in December and the vibe was wonderful -- good music and very warm and cozy. My coffee was beautiful and you can tell the great care the baristas put in to their drinks.
Such a convenient spot and nice place. Will definitely be back!!!
This cafe is a hidden gem and a big hit with my runner friend who stops by along the 606. I tried the Ipsento latte which adds great flavor with honey and cayenne. Ordered it iced, but came out hot. But then realized it probably tastes a lot better hot, so I will have to come back in the winter. It’s always great to see a cafe own a flavor and build a brand around it. super cool and would come back again for sure.
This is definitely going to be one of my go to’s. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The nutella late is divine! I recommend it both hot and iced. Love how close it is to the trail.
Lovely spot for coffee! I always order rich, whole milk lattes and Ipsento doesn’t disappoint. I wish their food options were more varied; however, they do have tiny donuts. That’s important. Can be a little chilly inside. A few doors down from Zen Yoga Garage so grab a coffee after a sweaty session!
Was looking for a nice coffee shop in the city for breakfast and good coffee. After looking up many places, I decided on Ipsento 606. I made the right choice! They make all their syrups, pastries, and sandwiches. I went with a few friends, and everything we had was delicious! I was able to customize my sandwich and drink to my liking without any issues (Western sandwich and ipsento drink). One of my friends got tea that was very good and the other got the 606 sandwich and the Chaggacino. I really liked the atmosphere as well - it’s the perfect place to meet up with friends and chat. If I’m ever in the area again, I will return in a heartbeat!
Stopped by due to rain, didn't get too much aside from a matcha latte and a croissant. Matcha latte was good, not sweet at all which is a plus for me but might be a negative for others. Croissant was soft and buttery, couldn't really ask for more. Would definitely stop by again and get some food if I'm ever in the city. Would love to try out their donuts next time but they were out at the time.
Ipsento offers a great variety of specialty lattes. The interior is very cozy and I love the window seats with a view of the 606 trail head. For those seeking a place to study or work, there's plenty of seating available.
I got the Brazilian blend drip coffee. It was full body and had a deep choclately tone to it. More than a hint of sweetness aftertaste. I’m not a fan of columbian beans in general so I was surprised by this.
The oat milk latte and americano both had some hint of Asian-flavoring (like soy sauce and sesame oil). Whatever espresso beans they used to make this were insane.
the date bar was so good! i was expecting a cliff bar but was pleasantly surprised with this bar that tasted more like peanut butter and dark chocolate. 10/10 recommend. i also ordered a matcha with oat milk that was very good. free wifi is also a plus
The Turkey croissant would've been better if they toasted the bread. It's just too cold for me; it wasn't bad though. 🥐🥪
