Just visited Huck Finn after 37 year absence. My wife and I used to go here while we were dating. It was just down the street from her home. Place was very clean, had great service, and still had donuts and a full sit down menu.
Absolutely wonderful classic Chicago south side diner! I come here every so often for lunch and occasional breakfast. I am seated promptly and the staff is friendly and attentive. I've never had a bad meal here and my kids love it. Donuts are the best in Chicago also, and fairly priced. Thank yo
Chorizo skillet with sunnyside or scribbled eggs is my favorite dish there.
Quick service, good food. Not many non-egg options. Loved veggie skillet. Location accessible by orange line. Good breakfast place but it was jam packed on the weekend. However, no reservation needed. Wait time is couple minutes.

This is my favorite diner in all of chicago, cheap prices with the best diner food i’ve ever had. The soup is amazing and the portions are great for the price. This place is a must for anyone visiting or living in chicago.
What a gem in the city. Ordered the steak and eggs and everything was perfect, steak was cooked perfect, hash browns and eggs were seasoned to perfection. The side of pancakes was also very tasty. Went in half an hour or so before close and the staff were kind, the BLT and Patty melt were good, the Frenchfries were perfect. It hit the spot. I also ordered donuts and the server threw in a couple more at the end of the night.
Y'all, this was just cozy and delicious and wonderful. The home cut fries are too good, the service staff is down to Earth like a proper Midwestern server should be, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food.

A major staple of a find restaurant, right in the middle of Bridgeport McKinley Park area. The food is just phenomenal and family run. Still after all of these years the quality has not changed and they take good care of their workers.
