Xcellent hidden gem! Very good quality sushi and since our first visit the staff has really improved the service which was very quick and hot items were hot and on the all you can eat sushi it was maybe 6-7 minutes after they took your order until your food arrived !! Love this place

For a local sushi experience this place is amazing. I have tried many places in the area and this place blows them away. The fish has always been fresh as well as presented beautifully. From the outside it does not look like much but be sure to give it a try. Of course you can go into the city and find higher quality and much more expensive places like Sunda or Kamehachi. But for that local sushi treat I highly recommend Royal.

It's our favorite place. I dream about the Mexican roll. The kids love the turtle and Sapporo rolls.

It was our first time there and my first all you eat sushi. The portions were perfect size so I didn't fill up on one thing. I got to try a variety of things. Jerry was very helpful and explained the rolls and what we can get. Plum wine was not too sweet perfect!! This will be our new spot.

Finally decided to try a new Sushi place and here it finally is. Personally I love places that have all u can eat sushi. The reason because you get more bang for you buck and you can't beat $20. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming but personally you have to go in to try it for yourself. I dont think you'll be disappointed one bit

Nice place. We opted for the 30.99 per person all you can eat. The rolls did not disappoint. They tasted as good as they looked.

Been going here for years, the sushi is always great and they keep the place updated/modern! Rising prices like everywhere else but their quality has not suffered and there is usually interesting new rolls/rotating items. Blue Sky is my favorite roll!!

This place has become one of my favorite sushi places in the area! It's so delicious and fresh each time I go. None of the fish tastes or smells fishy (funny how fish tasting or smelling like fish is a no no lol), and it is always presented beautifully. Thec main maki or roll set(s) I get is/ are usually raunbow roll, shown in the picture along with The Downer's Grove, also pictured. Their appetizers are amazing as well, I recommend their coconut shrimp, their gyoza, their miso soup, their house salad, and their takoyaki, to name a few. Priced adequately, it's AYCE, so come hungry!

my friend just introduced me to this "all you can eat" japanese sushi place. its been there forever but its sort of hidden in the shopping center. instead of buffet style you get a menu and check off what you would like. you can eat as much as you want but you will have to pay for what you don't finish. so the secret is that you have to be picky and pace yourself. its a cool experience. a robot brings the order to your table. its going to be a newly found obsession. everything is made fresh to order. and you can try new things every time. this definietely satisfies the foodie in me. i like the almost dim sum style social eating. and food comes out fast! dont be fooled about the plain outside on the inside it's a hidden secret gem!

Sushi was good. Wish there are more cooked rolls options! But I do Love that it’s an AYCE and the rolls were pretty big for its size and it got me so full after two orders!! (Each roll contained a set of 8 or 10) I wish I could’ve ate more but I know we’ll be back here..Love that there was an option for chicken nuggets and onion rings for my daughter. We came in at an early time around 4ish where no one was there so it’s wasn’t busy and love how the service was fast and efficient. The waiter was quiet but super friendly.

Ate here for years, nothing to complain about. You can have the "all you can eat" option or just order single rolls or pieces from the menu. To all the picky "sushi experts" out there my advice go to downtown let's see for 30$ what all you can eat sushi you will find. Don't expect to pay on the weekends for the lunch price, and the menu does state that if you order more than you can eat, you have to pay for leftovers! No food wasting, so bravo!

The appetizers are very good. Sushi pieces were amazing- fresh and tender. The Mexican roll was delicious. My only dislike was there is ALOT of tempura type rolls which I don’t particularly like. Fun little robot waiter and a better atmosphere than I remember from the last time I was there pre- pandemic.

Pretty good sushi for an ayce concept. The rolls are not too heavy on the rice which was nice. The appetizer selection has a nice variety of dishes too try. Personal favorite was the fried oysters.

Not bad for all you can eat sushi, but definitely not as fresh as other restaurants. Great for the price, but not absolutely delicious. My biggest gripe was the rice. It was a little on the dry/stiff side.

favorite place for AYCE sushi “in the city.” Worth the drive. Don’t sleep on the snow mountain or downers grove roll. If I could only eat one thing the rest of my life it would hands down be one of those rolls.

Had a great meal. The food is fresh and made to order. The time for the food came out was reasonable based on the fact that the food was made after ordered.

Best Unlimited sushi spot in the Northside of Chicago, very friendly service and plenty of parking. Affordable price for a lot of food.
