They need to modernize their system and I should be able to pay with a debit or credit card with that said “cash only”
Cash only - but ATM on premises. EVERYTHING is made fresh and comes out hot! Hot dog, delish. Fried chicken sandwich, delish. They also have Mello Yello. Chocolate malts are good! But not very malt-y, more of a shake. Very clean inside and has a very Chicago feel. Would recommend over Portillos.
Best hotdog deal in town! The footlong char dog is a 12" long sausage wrapped in two 6" long poppyseed buns. Makes for an interesting eating scenario.The meal comes with all the fixings (watch out for the pickled jalapeño peppers), a generous side of fries (they say small), and a drink -- all for under $10. The staff bring out the Chicago flavor, and are the nicest bunch -- we got free lollipops at the end of the meal! Don't miss out!
Cash only, but it's worth it. Possibly the best Chicago beef in the city, and excellent fries (if you love them greasy). Go for the Chicago beef/sausage combo if you want a giant Neal.
CASH ONLY..... The Patty melt and Philly steak was really good. I wasn't a big fan of the chili though.
Great steak and eggs. Big portions at a great price only $10.50 tax included and a free cup of coffee if you dine in .I highly recommend it
Such a consistently satisfying experience. Excellent fast food menu & delivery. Food is always made to order, hot and tasty! Service is efficient and Cleo is the perfect host. They always take care of their customers, whether you are a loyal visitor or first timer. Outdoor seating is ideal with full exposure from sun during lunch and early afternoon.
This is a classic Chicago dog restaurant. This is the place to go if you are a tourist looking for a properly grilled Chicago Dog, hint: burn the ends and dump relish in the cuts on the dog. Locals and construction workers hang out here, and grown ups who have memories of their favorite childhood train set. It’s a great place to take kids for pizza puffs and chili cheese fries. Oh! Also, this is a fun place to go post baseball games! They aren’t super crowded after Cubs games The food is super fresh and made to order. They take care of their customers so if you are allergic to anything let them know when you order. I highly recommend this restaurant !

The food it's great and the staff are friendly. They are going the extra mile just to make sure that you are happy. The food it's a little bit expensive and they only take cash. A cash station is inside as well outside of the fast food place. The seating area is limited but in the summer time you can enjoy their little teras. Considering that they are located in downtown area, you have to expect that kind of prices. Over all we had a very good experience at this location.
I have been coming here for years and have encountered a problem, when I leave it am stuffed like a Christmas goose! The prices are a little bit more than some places, but the quality of the food is worth it. Sure I can go to portillos and pay and get way over charged and the food not as good and the service is eh, or I can go to fast track and get good food and leave full. I love the fresh cut fries, they are way better than the crap you get elsewhere. I will always come here when I can because he appreciates the business i give him and I know it's going to him versus some big franchisee . Good food, good price always willing to come back.
Have been enjoying the sweet snarkiness of the owner for over 20 years. Great 'dogs. Infinitely better atmosphere than the faux old timie Portillo's baloney. Fast Track is where its at!!!! Good food. good value. And the train that circles the interior is always a pleasure
One of the best burger places in the city. Relatively fast service, unbelievable burgers for an extremely reasonable price. Usually, the owner is in the shop either grilling or working the cash register. Great option for a local burger if you don't want to wait in line at Au Cheval for two hours. Highly recommend it, especially if you're hungover and need some greasy food.
Great breakfast. Friendly service. Awesome prices. Everything is cooked fresh upon order. Yes, the guy at the register can be stern, but get to know him. He’s a nice guy!
