Raymond's Hamburgers And Tacos - Chicago - Photo album

Totally unassuming place, I saw in an article online they are ranked highly as one of the best tacos spots in Chicago. So I figured I’d go check it out. I went to the location on the south side at Damen & Blue Island. I ordered a pastor taco and ribeye torta. Both items were average. I’d have to say
Excellent tacos and very friendly staff. There is an additional seating area in the back. It was very busy when we went on a Sunday evening, but we had no problems getting a seat. Let the staff know if you plan to eat in when you order at the counter. Highly recommended. Just note that this place i
Super fast service. Great hot & fresh food made to order. Omg the tacos are so big. I got al pastor and asada after not going for 10 years and the quality is top notch. Delicious! The salsa was amazing as well. Will definitely be back soon!!!

I have been coming since the 80s then stop for long time no bad reason now i got to have them atleast once a week
Greasy and under seasoned. IMO this place has always been overrated, and the few times I've considered them, it's always a miss for me. 👎🏿 I get better tacos at Toy's over on Laramie, and that's not saying much... Maybe the new Raymond's that's going to open up on Jackson and Western will be better.
Meh! I love Steak tacos, you know skirt steak (Arrachera) is what steak to me. These are not steak. A little more seasoning or salt would be nice. For a quick hunger fix, it does its job. But to be on my top list, no. My daughter loves it so to each their own! Happy eating!!!
Got to try this gem of a taco place on Taco Tuesday, and it is definitely worth the drive to Pilsen. The tacos here at Raymond's are as good as advertised. I ended up trying their asada tacos, lingua, and al pastor. They were all amazing and so delicious. They give you extra sauce and its so spicy,
