This is our new Red Wings bar for the people that moved here from Michigan. This place was great, other than the turtle races going on that night distracting from the Wings game (I'm sure they'd be lovely any other time).
Decent beer tap options, better cheaper beer/drink specials, and the food is especially good for how low the cost is.
So, what really made the night was the bartender, who, after me and my friend went outside for a cancer stick (don't judge me!), pretty much demanded the drunk college a**holes blocking our seats move before he'd serve them. I still had to tell the tall gangly one to move two steps left to the giant open space so I could sit down, but the bartender made damn sure my lady friend could sit back down right away. The bartender was pretty great all night actually, and since the Wings lost he gave us a free "that sucks" shot for the road. Hard to beat that.
All around solid. Cool neighborhoody type bar to grab a beer with some friends. Very laid back and welcoming. Prices are reasonable too.
