Lovely place, excellent meals! Seems to be recently rebranded to "The New Grace Restaurant". Besides the really great customer service, the food is excellent. If you're a lover of authentic Ghanaian dishes, you should definitely make time to check this place out! For our first time here, we tried 'banku and tilapia' and 'banku with okro stew' 😋😋... Definitely coming back to try the rest! Highly recommended.

The best so far. Workers should be friendly to customers. Overall, you made my stay in Chicago a good one

The staff was quiet, but very friendly and the food was pretty good. I had a friend in middle school who I used to go home with after school and she always had awesome African food. I haven't seen her in years or had those meals since, but I saw on Grace African Restaurant's menu that they had some of the same recipes my friend used to make for me. I knew I had to go and try that food again after all these years. It was just an awesome meal and a trip down memory lane for me. I recommend this place!

Of course it’s me again, with some more Waakye. This is a must when I go to Ghanaian restaurants. Grace’s African Restaurant did not fail me with this delicious tasting Waakye.

A great place for regional Ghanaian cuisine! I stumbled upon this gem randomly after moving to the neighborhood. The Food takes a while to prep since it's freshly made to order, but it is worth every minute of wait. I'd recommend turkey tail as appetizer, and Fufu with goat for main dish. Tip: the food is delightfully spicy 🌶🌶🌶

I was in Chicago and looking for a great African restaurant to mark my stay in chicago.guess what I found this place on the web and went there. The best place in Chicago to eat when it come to west African cuisine. I will definitely come again. Tightly recommend. A menu will cost you $15-$20. But trust me you will be satisfied.

I love the authentic culture it brings to Chicago, both in the food and atmosphere upon entrance to the restaurant. This is truly an amazing place to dine and have great conversation/ dialogue regarding various topics around the world. Customer service is fabulous. Just remember some food consist of being spicy, however ask and maybe the cook can fix you a special non-spicy dish. I enjoyed this place for years, just go visit and see the beauty in the food, music and decorations within this place.
