A young man who works here stopped to help me with my car that broke down on busy Washington Street. He was riding his bicycle to work at SONIC. I was really thankful because my car was sticking out in the street a little bit. After my car was towed to a shop and my mother picked me up, I told her that I wanted to stop to see if he was working. He was there and took our order and delivered our order of two shakes. The shakes are very healthy portions and were delicious. I was able to give him a generous tip for his act of kindness (he pushed my car while I steered it off the busy street). The shakes were delivered quickly and were delicious but beyond that, it is rare that anyone goes out of their way to help someone in our day and age!!!
We just moved to Brookfield Missouri from Hawaii (no Sonic in Hawaii, yet), this was my first Sonic Drive-In "carhop" experience, their staff were very friendly and helpful too! I love their Strawberry and Cherry Lemonade with EXTRA "REAL" Strawberries! The Brookfield Sonic discontinued the strawberry "syrup" and serves only real strawberry fruit...Sweeeet! 👍
