The food was excellent!!! I had the breakfast burger and my husband had a burger with jalapeños & bacon. Delicious!!! We also ordered hot boneless wings, which were a pretty good size! We had to eat here when my father-in-law said he had the best steak he's ever had. We definitely recommend stopping in to eat! �
I have always loved Banana's and we have hosted 3 hashes here now (running/walking pub crawl with lots of shennanigans) and we'll be having another one in September. We had 22 people and sat in the back, and our server, Heather, was phenomenal. I waited tables for many years so I know a great server when I see one. We ate and drank a lot and no one was ever left waiting. This is the first time I've been there since they started serving food and the grilled chicken sandwich and side salad were delicious. Juicy, flavorful chicken, nice soft bun, fresh salad, great dressing (I tried the blue cheese and the ranch). Peoria Hash House Harriers loves you, Bananas!
Bananas is totally different , bartender was awesome...perfect Long Islands which are hard to get perfect, appetizers, entrees were awesome! New kitchen menu was great for all 12 of us.. no-one had a bad meal or drink Definitely boater friendly and worth burning the fuel to run up river from Peoria! You guys nailed it Sunday!
We were with 2 other couples on our own river run. We stopped at Bananas for lunch. We loved it!! The waitress was top notch and the hamburgers were the best ever!! Fantastic!
The Peoria Hash House Harriers chose Banana's recently for the starting and ending point for one of our fun runs. We were quite pleased that the owner gave us the side room to take over, and he made certain that one of their best servers (Heather) took excellent care of us. She was very personable and attentive. Great service and great food. The bartender was also excellent, though I can't remember her name. We're already planning to use Banana's for our "Red Dress Run" on September 9th, but we may return sooner as well. Thanks for making us feel welcome!
Dave just brought home some garlic Parmesan wings for lunch. After smelling them bring out wings 3 times, he had to bring some home. Absolutely the best garlic Parmesan wings I’ve ever had. They even beat my favorites in Pineville NC. Can’t wait to try other flavors. Thanks!,
We stopped at Bananas today for lunch during the Henry Yacht Club's annual Scavenger Hunt. The food was excellent! First time I've eaten here since I heard they had a full kitchen. I had the Blue Burger. I appreciate that they use real burger patties. Not frozen. The fries were great too! Great stop! Heather was our waitress. She gave us great service!
Heather is the by far the best bartender! Highly recommend seeing her!
Really nice place! Don't judge a book by its cover. It looks a little weathered on the outside (at least in the dark), but it is new and shiny on the inside, nice wood. Had the Blue Burger with red onion marmalade and sweet potato fries. I'm not an onion fan but thought I'd try them. Cooked really well and mixed well with the blue cheese. Super service by Heather, everything was hot and fresh. She checked back with me and didn't have to flag her down for a refill. Will definitely be back and try out more of the menu.
Our running group descended on this place like a horde of locust with vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters all present. Heather waited on our group of 25 people and we were never really waiting on food or drink. Quality of food good. MUSHROOM CHIPS!!! Quality of service, FANTASTIC. Thanks, Heather! Will find a reason to get back to Chilli.

Heather, the bartender, was amazing. One of the best we have ever seen. If you have a chance you should really check out this bar.

Terrific river views. Quality food. Have visited open to close. Always a changing crowd.
Only place in town that was open so we gave it a shot. And im glad we did. It was free pool night and me and my buddy were the only ones inside because the bar was closed. We drank and talked and played pool for a few hours in peace. Plan on going back!
Casual neighborhood bar with a great view of the Illinois river,friendly staff, only pizza available, pool table and a pinball machine.
Unfortunately they were out of pizza but we had a friend that lived near by brought us two frozen pizzas and they baked them for us. Awesome people. Good service
