This is the best place to get a meal period. Breakfast... nobody understands breakfast sandwiches like they do. Lunch...best place to get a meal... period. Burgers, sandwiches, salads... everything is delicious. As my son said, "Best loaded fries ever. Nobody knows how to make loaded fries just right...but they have the best mix of fries, cheese and bacon that a human could ask for."
Went there first time today with hubby! This place is super cute and NOT original (meaning no fast food chain ). It is unique and a local eating spot. The service was excellent as well as the food !! One of the owners was so kind. She helped us figure out what was good and was very friendly in general !
The haddock fish sandwich and tomato cucumber salad was on point!!! :-) going again sometime for sure!!!!
I have been meaning to stop here for awhile. I asked Dave what was good and he said the fish was fresh and boy he was not lying! Big piece of fish and very tasty batter.Really friendly place!
I've been there a few times, never had a bad meal or greeted without a smile! The couple that owns it have come out from behind the counter and kitchen to personally see how our meals have been every time!! I absolutely love it there! My favorite has to the the French Dip, with the spicy cheese steak sandwich a close second!

A real nice locally owned and super friendly establishment. Relaxing atmosphere and the food is the best. We had and lunch on our 2 visits so far. Can't wait to eat there again.

This place was delicious! Had the Clark W. Griswold and we tried the Italian Stallion sausage soup! Roast beast was so tender! And of course, the service was stellar! Will be back for sure!!
This is one of the best Little "Diners" in town. My son and I stopped for breakfast after his game and we were very impressed. Its cozy space combined with quality food, great portions and a comfortable atmosphere make this one of our favorite " let's try it out stops yet". We Will be coming back here for sure.
My favorite places to eat here are the pop & ma diners that are old school and serve some delicious food. I don't get a chance to eat breakfast out during the week but I try to experiment over the weekends.
Breakfast at "The Chickadee Human Eatery" which has been on my wishlist for a while...what caught my attention on the menu was the "Philly steak AM Hoagie" so ordered it and boy was it good :) with some black coffee on the side Got to come back and try lunch here :)

Friendly staff, loved the unique tables in the dining area, we stopped in for breakfast, was very good! Full breakfast menu and lots of lunch/dinner choices!
Excellent hospitality upon entering. First time there felt like family. The food was excellent. Great selection. The hardest decision to make is what to order! Definitely would recommend and definitely will be back.
I tried 4 different soups. And let me tell you.... they were amazing. I also got the homemade chips and they were great!!

Awesome food, had a really good steak sandwich. Awesome art deco and retro signs all over make for a cool atmosphere, and you can buy them if you like them!

The food here is perfectly priced and delicious! I've had multiple items but greatly enjoy the meatball grinder and the turkey avocado sandwich. They also make homemade chips that are yummy. The wait is not too long even when the place is pretty busy.
While you are waiting, you can also slip on next door to check out the shoe and novelty store. There is an entrance from the restaurant.
Bathrooms are clean every time I've visited and the restaurant itself is very clean. I also enjoy the atmosphere while I'm eating. Comfortable but not too overwhelming claustrophobic. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
Food was excellent! So fresh and flavorful. Everyone was so upbeat and friendly from the cooks to the owners. l have 15 years experience working in restaurants and I strongly suggest this place. Its nice to see people doing it right! So get out there and support a local spot the truly deserves it!
This place has great from scratch food. The staff is incredibly engaging. The decor is very interesting and you and your loved ones will have fun reading the wall art and pointing them out to each other. Very fast service.
Such a great local place! I deliver Grubhub for extra cash and they are always so tentative and friendly. My husband and I decided to order for the first time for ourselves and it was AMAZING. We will absolutely be ordering here more often!
Very unique place with oddball decor and everything on the walls is for sale. Npne of the tables match makinv this a fun ,eclectic mix of furnishings and decor. Staff was wonderful and friendly. Service was great and the food was amazing. I had a burger that did not leave me room to eat my fries. It was cooked to perfection and topped with bacon, ham, fried egg, and cheese. My SO had the special, pot roast and mashed. HUGE portion but soooo tasty and temder, she has to eat it all, except for the bites I stole. No fat or yucky parts in the meat either! We have a hobby of picking random places to try. Some we go back to. This will be one of our spots to go over and over again.
Picked up takeout as we were driving through town. Excellent, but decadent french fries. Deep fried pickles with Boom boom sauce were tasty (and sauce had some kick), and my chicken cheese steak also was really good.
I've been here a couple of times so far and both experiences have been stellar. The soups are homemade and the sandwiches I've had were fresh, tasty, and sizable. To top it off, it's locally owned and operated which is always a plus!
My wife and I really enjoyed our food and the folks that worked there. A neat little place that has a good variety of meals and interesting decor. Will definitely be back the next time we're in the area. A little gem.
Breakfast sandwiches like I remember from my childhood, at the best delis in Long Island. Delicious tater tots with great seasoning. Priced slightly high for an egg and cheese on a bagel (without meat), so docked a star for that , but it was worth it and the rest of the menu seems well priced!
I've eaten here numerous times. Reasonable prices, great food (have had many of the sandwiches, burgers and soops). Clean and fun interior. Staff is fun & friendly. They are open for breakfast now, so I will check that out soon.
People here are so friendly and quick with your orders even during a lunch rush. The burger and cheeseburger grinder were cooked perfectly. I'm definitely visiting again before they unfortunately close on 4/24
The Chickadee for breakfast today! Always great service and the specials are awesome. The chorizo sausage omelette was so good. Keep cooking up those delicious meals because I will be back!
