I have bin cooming to this place since I was a kid I came back from Detroit to visit and this place is still as good ! LA barbacoa sigue igual de riquisima!
The quesadilla de carne asada was very delicious. The sopa de tortilla was just ok. The broth was a bit lacking in flavor.

I got the steak tacos and horchata. The horchata was great and so was the tacos, but the tacos had a little bit of fat. Their salsa is on point. Overall, great place and awesome service.
The Barbacoa de Borrego has always been great.The place needs some attention. The service unfortunately is not that good.You always have to call the waitress if you need something. I was very surprised to see that the owner was there and didn't notice the service we were getting (my husband doesn't like to complain, not even if he is getting bad service. ) That is why we always order for delivery. We eat there because we happened to be in the neighborhood. Would not do it again. I also noticed there was a sign that said ,Waitress Needed !🤔
