Meng was our waiter, and he was great! I appreciated him communicating when certain dishes we ordered would arrive. Food was great, the atmosphere and interior made me feel nostalgic (in a good way!), and bathroom was clean too. I like their choice of background music, and it was at the right volume. I also liked how there was reserved parking for customers, so find parking was not a hassle at all! Thank you for existing!

Everybody has different preferences for Chinese food. For me, I like to be able to SEE the meat I’m eating. I got the sesame chicken and it is pure white meat. Some people just like chicken thighs and they don’t use that here. For me, it’s a win! The only reason for 4 stars is bc it’s my personal preference that I wish the chicken either had more breading or the chunks were smaller and that it could have been sweeter/more flavor? In their defense, the lady on the phone said that if I wanted more spice, to get the orange chicken! Fried rice was great and wasn’t greasy. The eggs rolls have minced chicken instead of pork, which I never heard of, but I enjoyed them! Not greasy (again, a win for me). Their dipping sauces were great and the mustard was SPICY, yum!

Great atmosphere and I liked how the restaurant was done. The service was good too. We started with scallion pancakes and crab rangoons. Crab rangoons were some of the best that we have had so far. For our main dishes we ordered the 5 spice tofu. I loved the texture of their tofu. It was crispy but not too oily that was a big win. The tofu came with a side of rice. We also got the Moo shu chicken and moo shu pork. Both were really really good. These came with four pancakes. The portion size was good enough for one person. All in all we had a great experience. Expect a wait time of 15-30 minutes on the weekends.

Went early for dinner. Great atmosphere! We had the scallion pancakes with eggplant and the ma la dumplings for appetizers and finished both. Kung pao tofu and twice-fried pork were also great. Beautiful cocktails too!

Visiting Oriental Wok in Cincinnati, Ohio, was a truly memorable experience, and I cannot recommend this fantastic restaurant enough. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was nothing short of impeccable. The story of Oriental Wok is as rich and delightful as the dishes they serve. Dr. Mike Wong, a charismatic and ambitious entrepreneur, founded the restaurant in 1977. After moving to the United States from Hong Kong to study pharmacology, Dr. Wong realized his true passion was for the culinary arts. With great determination and grit, he took the bold step to open Oriental Wok and introduce the people of Cincinnati to the authentic flavors of Chinese cuisine. The menu at Oriental Wok is extensive, offering a wide array of dishes that cater to various palates. I had the pleasure of trying their famous Peking Duck, which was cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served with a mouthwatering hoisin sauce. Everything we had was delicious and full of flavor. What sets Oriental Wok apart from other Chinese restaurants is not only the quality of their food, but also the dedication to preserving traditional recipes while incorporating modern twists. This perfect fusion of old and new is a testament to Dr. Wong's vision and the restaurant's commitment to excellence. The staff at Oriental Wok were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they were more than happy to accommodate our dietary restrictions and preferences. Oriental Wok is a must-visit for anyone in Cincinnati looking for an exquisite dining experience. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a fascinating backstory make it a truly unique and unforgettable culinary gem in the city. Don't miss the opportunity to savor the amazing dishes at Oriental Wok, all thanks to Dr. Mike Wong's inspiring journey! For more check out @angieknowsthetruth & @cincinnatifoodies on instagram!

Got a take out but was able to eat it right away so the food stayed fresh. Aside from the fried rice being a little too salty, the food was great. It's a different version of chicken Broccoli and sesame chicken that we are used to but definitely better. Place seemed to have a nice ambiance and clean.

This place is amazing! Great ambiance, great service, and great food. The Chinese Style Fish was too good. I also tried the Kung Pao Chicken and it was good. Definitely going back here to try something else from their extra long menu.

Came here for the first time Saturday evening and not sure why I haven't been here before. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Staff were so extremely friendly and even met one of the owners who was also incredibly nice and welcoming. Looking forward to going back soon!!!
