Red Feather is the perfect "Farm to Table" find --fresh, local, seasonal. Each dish was creative, gorgeous...and plate lickin' "gone!" We loved: Silky whipped ricotta with honey, truffles & EVOO on grilled bread. Chef's special striped bass with spring favas, peas & black rice. A sweet & smoky bone-in 12 oz pork chop you will try to replicate--good luck with that! And the ubiquitous beet salad? This one is Alice Waters-worthy. Fab wine list with so many options of wines and budgets. Service was A+ --thanks Stephen. We'll be back.

Service was impeccable, Camille was outstanding and offered great recommendations. Food was truly delicious. You can tell it is a scratch kitchen. The ricotta and honey was perfection. The priscutto salad was outstanding. The short rib was truly fork tender. A special dining experience! Highly recommend!
One of the best restaurants in the city. Their brunch is lovely and delicious, they have a bloody mary bar and friendly and knowledgeable staff.
That's how dining should be done!
My wife and I have eaten at many of the nicer restaurants around town, The Red Feather is definitely in the top three of our favorites. The food and cocktails were executed to perfection and the service was outstanding. We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. We will definitely be back in the future.
We had brunch there and we absolutely LOVED it .. food and service was top notch ! The Bloody Mary bar is on point .. Best brunch food in the city hands down !!
One dish after another of perfect food. Pork belly steamed buns, elote, heirloom tomato salad, gnocchi, roasted chicken deliciousness, pork chop and tres leches cake. Everything perfect. Servers I've had there - Sam, Chandler, Ethan - are all amazing. Chef Andrew is amazing, sweet and adorable!
One of the best meals I've ever had. Our server Keith was personable, and really good at his job. For a special birthday outing, my husband couldn't have picked a better place. I can't wait to go back to try dinner.
Wonderful atmosphere, fancy yet rustic, white linen & exposed brick. Excellent service from Sam. The Moules et frites were delicious. Mmmm...the mussels, that sauce! Creamy white wine sauce with roasted garlic & tarragon? And the slightest hint of sweetness. YUM!
Ask for a spoon, you’ll not want to waste a drop. Good frites too.
Additionally, we loved the fact that there was no music, just intimate gatherings of people enjoying good food & conversation
This is my favorite place in the city. I've never had a meal I didn't relish there. I have dreams about their whipped ricotta with truffle honey, and that double tomahawk porkchop. I seriously began to salivate just from typing this review.
Everything was awesome except for the big mouth lady and gentleman next to us. Ruined a great meal. Don't know why some people are oblivious to the world around them. But food was awesome and service exceptional!!!!
One of the single most enjoyable dining experiences I've shared with my fiancé in recent memory. Beautiful, vibrant venue, service beyond expectation, and deeply satisfying wow-factor food. Delectable. A Cincinnati must-dine. Can't wait to return.
Food so good it makes you mad you didn’t find this place sooner. Lamb motivates you to ask for the raise at work so you can eat here three times a week minimum.
Best meal I've had in years.
Chad was our server & paired our food with wine exceptionally. Make sure you ask for his section!
Everything we ate was 5-star. Every bite was perfect.
Heading back soon for my wife's birthday in a few weeks!
Took my wife out for a birthday dinner. It was excellent. The potato gnocchi plate was amazing, as was the pork belly appetizer. Wonderful service by our waiter, Chris.
Amazing lunch!! The biscuits were amazing :) I had the burger and it was to die for!
Excellent service. Waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. Was able to taste a few wines before making a decision. Very hard to choose what mealto get. Salmon was delicious. Whipped ricotta was very tasty. . Small seating area. Noise level was good. Excited to go back and try the steak.
My favorite dining experience I have had in a while.
First off, Camille, our server, was fantastic. She gave great service and wonderful recommendations as well as a full rundown of the menu since we had never been there before. The table started out with the ricotta baguettes and the crispy chicken skins- both were phenomenal. I got the scallops which were cooked to perfection. The others got the gnocchi, shrimp and grits, and the burger; everyone loved their entree.
We will definitely be back!
Run right now to get some of the best food you'll ever have. This is an experience too! It's so lovely. Crispy chicken skins. Amazing. Steak. Amazing. Parmesan truffle fries I died went to heaven and came back when I tasted them. So good. Honestly everything they made was so well executed and delicious I was amazed by it! 10/10 go!!
A bit loud and a bit smokey. A nice wine list, but pricey. Food prep took some time, but not uncomfortably long. Just don't go if you're looking for fast food or if you have impatient persons with you - such as small children.
Nice setting. Great atmosphere. A little hard to hear our 8 person group as they spoke. Great waiter, delivered food and drinks timely. I like the intimate atmosphere... Would be great place for date night. A little pricey $$$. So come prepared to split a meal. Was not too happy with my pasta potato gnocchi... As there was no pasta, and it was like 5 pieces of potato squares, but it had a good flavored sauce on it and I had a salad as well. The Red Feather is definitely worth a try if you're tired of the usual restaurants.
This evening my wife and I celebrated her birthday, as new parents we made a 5pm reservation and when we arrived we were promptly seat. The atmosphere is wonderful with the smell of campfire from one of their wood burning grills while the low lit dining room offers an intimate setting. Our server, Nolan, was very polite and throughout dinner always attentive. He answered all of our questions quickly and politely. Our dinner consisted of three courses, appetizer, dinner and desert. We choose the mussels, my wife ordered the filet feature and I ordered the pork chop and to finish we had a crème brûlée. It is almost like everything was cooked with love, every bite was mouth watering wanting another bite. Red Feather is a locally owned and operated business. Chef Brad Bernstein has put the time in to hone his craft, and hone he did. Go check them out, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Now for this Pork Chop. Never in my life have I seen a more beautiful Pork Chop. It was every bit of 3” thick, double boned goodness. It was cooked perfectly, the fat melted in your mouth like butter. This is the best representation of a Pork Chop I have ever eaten. I will crown it King of Pork Chops!
My wife and I went here for our anniversary and we couldn't have been happier. I spent many years working in fine dinning in my twenties so I feel like I might know a thing or two about good food and good service. The Red Feather delivers both In a casual, comfortable, and welcoming environment. The food was spectacular. Every bite was better than the last. It was a wonderful experience that I would gladly enjoy again. The craft cocktails were delicious as well and the service was fantastic. 10/10.
I truly enjoyed my experience at Red Feather. Unique, tasty, and memorable dishes coming out of that kitchen. Service is also quite laid-back and friendly. I will definitely come back the next time I find myself in Cincinnati.
I supposed I am putting a high expectation as they advertised themselves as a upscale dinning environment. First of all, don't get me wrong! the food are awesome, I was super surprised about their pork chop and braised pork which blew my mind! However, the service was not what I anticipated. When they place our utensils, they hand the utensils to us instead of placing them in the right place. The way they provided the services just not that upscale.
Had the pleasure of dining at this very nice restaurant over the weekend with a large group. I was pleasantly surprised by how great the staff and service was. The food was also very good. I had got the short ribs. They were just a little salty to my liking, but next time I will tell them light on the salt. They were very accommodating to any dietary restrictions. Overall everyone enjoyed their food and left very happy. We will definitely be back!
Last Wednesday night was truly incredible. My entire dinner club was gushing over how great everything ended up being - Camille, Meredith, Elliot, (not sure if I am spelling their names right) and the rest of the staff were truly fabulous. Both Brad and Melissa were great at handling my reservation/upper management logistics ahead of time too. All of the food was delectable - cannot wait to go back.
Great place to spend an evening! I enjoyed the dim lighting, unique seating/decorations and view into the kitchen from our table in the back of the restaurant.
Good drink menu. I ordered the whipped ricotta app, parmesan truffle fries, and shrimp n grits. All were fabulous! The fries could've been enough for 4-5 people. Loved the spices on my entree.
A bit more expensive than what I was expecting, however, I will be back a second time.
Red Feather is a small homey spot in Oakley. We love the atmosphere, service is always great. The food is solid but we've found we've lost our appetite for some of the dishes over the years. I'm not sure if it's us changing or the selections/styles there anymore, but I used to consider this one of the best spots in cincinnati and now we prefer places like pepp and delores, sotto of course, or several spots in Covington.
There are some must haves like the chicken skins here. The rest I could take or leave it most visits in the last year - it may be time for a new menu from the chef to mix things up a bit. We'll still come back but maybe less frequently than we used to.
Anyway, you won't be disappointed, but the price is high so make sure you pick your selections wisely. Some of our last meal's selections are pictured here. Depending on your drinks and how hungry you are, expect $60-$125 per person.
Wonderful dining experience. Food was delicious and presented well. The service was excellent. The server provided a fine dining experience in a business casual atmosphere. I deducted a star for atmosphere because my clothes smelled like I was by the campfire. I don’t like the smokey scent but it wouldn’t stop me from eating there again. I highly recommend.
A big personal thank you to the Red Feather team on my special birthday celebration two months ago! Our server paid extra attention to the details and manager Aaron took extra good care of us as well. I love the ambiance of this spot, upbeat, great music, a team who supports one another and delivers topnotch service. One suggestion: The policy of having to order appetizers at same time as entrees is inconvenient for the customer. We filled up on appetizers and we're too full to eat entrees. Ends up being a bit expensive this way. We will return for sure!
With the world slowly opening back up again, my wife and I had our first date night in a long while at Red Feather Kitchen. They claim to be an upscale casual dining experience, so pretty much anything goes. Some tables are white table cloth while others are not. Some customers were dressed more formally, while I was pretty casual. Reservations aren't necessary on a weeknight but are available online.
We started with a wonderful dish of whipped ricotta served with grilled baguette slices. This was recommended by our server and it did not disappoint. It was served to our table quickly and was more than enough for two. The ricotta has some truffle oil and chives, but the ricotta itself really stood out to me.
My wife enjoyed some chicken tacos. These were each small in size, but five made up the serving so it was quite plentiful for the price. The shell itself was lightly fried to a bit off a puff. These were not very easy to pick up and eat without making a mess, more of a fork and knife taco.
I enjoyed the BBQ chicken sando with Alabama white BBQ, cheddar cheese curds, and onion straws. The $19 price tag was a little high for a sandwich that doesn't include a side dish. However, with that said, I did enjoy the sandwich and the flavors it offered.
We also had a side of asparagus, but probably should have skipped this. At this point, we had more than enough food on the table and could not finish it all.
Red Feather is a good spot for a date night regardless of what the occasion. There is something on the menu for nearly every palate and at all different price levels.
