Consistently fun and innovative cuisine. Charcuterie is phenomenal, and lovely selection of wines and beers. My favorite spot!

Always wonderful, Dutch's is a quaint and very chill restaurant in the heart of Hyde Park East. If you want that chill vibe, come early (like we did) and sit at the bar. The beer and wine is always top notch and the food menu is by the great minds at Red Feather (see my review). I had the Cuban sandwich and my wife had the pimento cheese burger, both phenomenal! The bartenders are all so friendly and just really down to earth folks. My wife had a really fantastic Cabernet and I had the pumpkin lager. Wonderful time as always! Keep up the good work D!

Got the red feather burger and it was excellent! The burgers are smashburgers, so they're not super thick, but they're cooked well and have good seasonings. Solid bun & pickle too. I'd skip on their specialty truffle popcorn -- it's fine, but the popcorn isn't fresh and the flavor doesn't add much in my opinion. I'll try a different appetizer next time. The patio could be a little warmer, especially since it's the only wheelchair-accessible seating. The patio is currently kept warm by a tent, but that does raise the question of what they do in the summer months -- if they take the tent down for the summer, where would I sit in the rain? The lack of accessible seating in the indoor area seems like it's not fully thought through, but I haven't seen their summer layout. Cocktails are quite good too! I had a gin drink which I quite liked. Their wine selection seemed pretty extensive but I was too cold to stick around and sip wine for a while.

Over the last year or so, Dutch's has reopened under new ownership by the folks who own Red Feather Kitchen. This means elevated food in a revamped casual setting. There are more tables than there used to be under the previous ownership that focused more on carryout. My wife and I stopped in for a date night and sampled various dishes on the menu. We started with a wonderful cheese board ($14 for 3 kinds of cheese and accoutrements). The selection of cheeses was a great mix and we really enjoyed this delicious start to the meal. My wife spotted others snacking on the truffle popcorn ($6) and had to give it a try. The flavor was definitely unmistakable, and while it's not my favorite thing, it was at least worth a try. We split the smoke chicken sandwich ($14 with a choice of side dish). This adds pickled jalapeno, white bbq sauce, shredded lettuce, and Dutch's unique "American" cheese crumbles. This was a big sandwich and was very good. The potato salad on the side was a nice mixture of local red potato, mustard seed, and mayo. My wife also had to try their butternut squash bisque ($6) which she declared the best she's had. Overall we had a nice meal and we should be back in the future!

The Alabama White BBQ Chicken sandwich is unbelievable. Ignore the whining and penny pinching cry babies leaving reviews here. You will not find a better sandwich in Cincy. Seriously. I recently visited for the first time with a friend and we enjoyed the sandwich so much we ordered a 2nd round of sandwiches. The beer selection was nice too and I highly recommend a cold draft with your BBQ chicken sandwich. Great service, comfortable indoor/outdoor space - cannot wait to return!

I’m not sure what all the mixed reviews are from. This is my 4th amazing time here. Foods on par and so are the drinks. If you are looking for a quick in and out service it might not be the place for you, but If you’re looking for great food and drinks with a nice outdoor vibe and want some meat of cheese to go for a home made board, this is it.

Great patio, good food and a perfect spot to relax with a cocktail (of which they have a large menu of cocktails, beer and wine). Our favorite neighborhood spot! Kid friendly too!

Great atmosphere, food and staff. REALLY! Been wanting to go here for awhile and was truly impressed. Best Cuban sandwich I've had in years and the brussels were perfectly carmelized. Thank you.

The meals I’ve had here are pretty decent- the salad with goat cheese and walnuts is fantastic. The tipping aspect is fine with me, however the online checkout defaults to an additional 20% tip, resulting in a 40% tip if you aren’t paying attention. To me, a 5% default would make more sense, but I’ve never had service at this restaurant that would justify a 40% tip. I’d recommend eating here, but be careful when you’re checking out!

This place is awesome, not only did we have great survive but also great food. . Not to mention the atmosphere of this place is epic. The owner was personally walking around making sure that everyone had anything they need. They gratuity that everyone is talking about is to make the employee that works there have a better life.. and In my option they exceeded my expectations. I will recommend this place to family and friends and come back in the near future. It’s rare to find a place like this that’s not a chain. Im happy to pay the minuscule difference to support a local family owned business..
