At first glance the building looked very upscale and welcoming. From the detail in the design feature on the ceiling to the interesting use of the round tables in the booths, the decor was very nice. Our waitress was new, but very nice, friendly and attentive. Overall, the food was very good and was plated well. The only place I believe needs a little work would be the speed of the kitchen. All in all my family and I enjoyed our experience and will recommend it.

Lunch options are very good and affordable. The pick two is the perfect amount of food for a great price. The flatbreads are delish and the atmosphere is very cool. The service was good too. The hostess was friendly and seated us right away and the server was attentive. It's a great spot for a weekday lunch work meeting.

My dad and I had lunch here and it's one of our new favorites! The service was friendly and we loved the atmosphere. Fancy and elegant but laid back, the best of both worlds. Highly recommend!

My experience at Spoon & Cellar was phenomenal! The waiters and waitresses were very welcoming coming back multiple time to check on how the service and food was. The food arrived quickly and was so delicious! I had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken and would highly reccommend it! I will be going back to Spoon & Cellar and recommend others to try it out!

My experience at Spoon & Cellar was all around excellent and delicious! The atmosphere was welcoming, homely, and classy all at the same time. The service was friendly and maintained tables very well. The food came out fast, hot, and beautifully presented. Not to mentioned the taste! Everything I tasted was delicious and would recommend the salmon! I will be visiting Spoon & Cellar again in the near future and would encourage anyone to do the same!

We had a wonderful experience at Spoon & Cellar. The atmosphere was fun and classy - making it a great spot for appetizers with friends or a holiday date night. Our food was absolutely delicious - would 100% recommend the Blackened Chicken Sandwich! We will be letting all of our in & out of town friends know about this new favorite!

I recently visited the Spoon & Cellar with my girlfriend, my brother and his girlfriend as part of a complete run through prior to the restaurants official opening the following Monday. The Spoon & Cellar occupies the bottom floor of the Holiday Inn on Broadway Street. If you are staying at the hotel and want a pleasant experience – provided by patient and considerate staff, eating excellent food for a near-fair price, amidst a calm, professional and sophisticated atmosphere without having to walk far at all – I would certainly recommend getting a table or spot at the bar in the Spoon & Cellar; it would certainly beat either walking, or paying for a ride, to a place to eat after searching the area on your phone. That was a really long sentence, Heath. Well, I’m excited so shh! You might not be staying at the hotel but rather looking for a new place to take a special someone – or maybe for a pit stop during a night on the town – if that is the case, you definitely need to visit the Spoon & Cellar. The décor is contemporary, crisp and fresh and the menu offers a variety of selections for foodies of all kinds to enjoy from start to finish. Each member of my party ordered something different to share with the table so we could sample the different flavors of the menu – and we were more than pleased with our choices: the pulled pork flatbread, the penne pasta palazzo, the pan seared Norwegian Salmon, and the prime cut rib eye steak. Blessed. I feel the price could be more accommodating for the some of the starters, sliders and flatbreads but other than that I don’t have any complaints. We didn’t seize the opportunity to sample any of the beers, wines or other spirits so I can’t offer any suggestions there; however, my brother did get a Coke! All in all, if you are in the mood for tasty food and an enjoyable experience for an appropriate price, I recommend you visit the Spoon & Cellar – I just might see you there!

Fun fact: this restaurant is connected to a hotel - but don’t let that dissuade you or throw you off. The food was delicious, the service a little spread thin but they got it done and were super friendly. The Strawberry Mint cocktail is delicious and refreshing if you’re looking for a happy hour beverage. The Ghost Chicken Sandwich is not as spicy as they say it is (though our group is from the south and have a high tolerance for hot sauce).

Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was quite comfortable and cozy. But the food...what can I say about the food to give it enough justice!!!! OMG freaking amazing! Ordered the Grilled Cheese with caramelized onion in fig jam, holy Toledo! Was skeptical at first but once I took my first bite, was totally blown away!!! Amazing food! Totally out of this world!!!! Person in my party had the blackened chicken sandwich that he said was absolutely delicious along with some french onion soup. Definitely worth stopping for. Serves a buffet breakfast in the A.M., wish we could have tried, but had to leave early the next day. Worth the money and time if you have it. Excellent service.

Near the eastern edge of downtown, at the base of the somewhat new Holiday Inn, sits the Spoon & Cellar restaurant. My wife and I stopped in for a date night dinner on a chilly November evening before a concert at the nearby Taft Theatre. We had an OpenTable reservation and upon our arrival, we were immediately seated and quickly drinks and a complimentary dish of bruschetta arrived. It was a nice touch and we are off to a great start to our meal. We also decided to split the spinach and artichoke dip starter with a nice pale ale based cheese dip and lavash crisps ($10). We were quite happy with this started and it was more than enough for our table of two. I also spied the french onion soup on the menu ($5), and I had to give it a try. The tasty soup was covered in a large melted mount of gruyere cheese and plenty of soggy croutons. With so much food already, I decided to order a handheld sandwich for dinner. The cellar club sandwich comes topped with roasted turkey, crispy pancetta, lingonberry chutney, lettuce, tomato, and garlic aioli on sourdough with fries on the side ($11). This was a pretty standard club sandwich, though the lingonberry chutney added a nice sweetness. My wife ordered the crab cakes from the starter menu as her meal ($8). The plate would be ideal for 2 to share but wouldn't provide a lot for larger groups. For her, it was the perfect sized meal after already filling start to our meal. Overall I think she would have tried something else on a future visit as she was not overly impressed by these crab cakes. Overall we had a good first visit to Spoon & Cellar. I don't think this will be a regular location for our family meals, but it would be nice for future date nights. Especially when going to a show and play nearby.

First time I went and was happy with my food! I got the spicy chicken sandwich and I’m thankful my server recommended me get the sauce on the side because it was spicy!! Overall great experience.

Chicken bacon Swiss sandwich is terrific and the tacos were very good. Service is usually quick, especially when you let them know you have somewhere to go, which makes it a great spot before a game or other event downtown.

My fiance and I came here on our first date. A year later, we came back for the first time to find we had the same server, Nick! He was so happy to see us again and took phenomenal care of us for the evening (my fiance's birthday). Needless to say, we'll be coming back for major occasions often

Not our dinner destination, but a solid place and we will come back for dinner. This place is very nice good selection of bourbons, nice bar, good apps. It was close to our Candlelight Cold Play event and we stopped in ahead of the performance. Staff was very attentive and the a great experience. I felt the food was outstanding and can't wait to stop back when I am downtown again.

The staff was so sweet and friendly. Complemented our outfits for the Eras Tour tonight. Wished us to have a good time at the show. Cocktails were great and the broccolini was delish.

Food was good. Did not snap a picture unfortunately. Wine Wednesday is a great deal. Half off certain bottles. Thomas is a new server but did a great job. I will try this restaurant again.

Nick gave us top tier service. I would definitely recommend based off him. He came in on Mother’s Day with several tables already sat and handled it with a very positive and calming attitude. The food took a while but it was good.
