Came in from out of town and wanted to meet up with my friends at Hap's. The staff was great and very accommodating. Even got two bottles of whiskey for my wife and I. Thank you so much. Highly recommend!
A no frills bar that's cash only. They have dartboards in the back along with TouchTunes, although it was paused when I visited. There are a couple of TVs. The one TV in the back has sound that comes from the TV itself and doesn't have overhead or surrounding speakers. It's a little smaller as well compared to some places with bigger TVs. They have an ATM in case you don't have any cash on hand at the time. The general atmosphere was good in the bar.
Fantastic and cozy, I love this local watering hole! They always open early for soccer games, bartenders give great service, the multiple dart boards have good lighting, and the regulars are hilarious. There's a close-knit family vibe to this place when I go. Cash only! I'll be back, soon and often.
I can see why friends like this place. They did not have the cider that I like, but the bar tender recommended an alternative that was just as good. He was friendly and made sure I felt welcome.
Great little Irish Pub. Always opens up early to watch European soccer (EPL focus but they'll put other leagues on if you ask...) They put sound on too.. which is key. Danny makes the best Irish coffee and bloody Mary that I've ever had. But most just focus on beer, so I'm one of the few that have got to see Danny's great skill in making specialty drinks. :) They don't have a kitchen so don't plan for a meal, but they have have snacks like chips just in case.
Oh also they have this great little store next door with authentic Irish jewelry, clothing and souvenirs. (Eire on Erie, I think) The prices are surprisingly reasonable. Great little find. Got some great Christmas gifts here!
Overall this is a good local hangout where they'll gradually welcome you into the Hap's family.

Who doesn't love a great local hole in the wall pub? The bartenders have been friendly every time I go in and the place is always packed! FYI they're cash only, but they do have an ATM onsite.
About as authentic an Irish Pub as you will find in the states. Great Irish beer with of course, Guinness on tap. Some crafts on tap as well. They show soccer and rugby on the weekends. A great bar with an atmosphere second to none.
Best hole in the wall in the city hands down. Big Joe is the man, best bar keep in the city and great all around guy. Great prices as well. Can’t lose here.

Hap's is a classic Irish pub 🍀. They take cash only, but the car tenders and patrons are some of the best people you'll meet.

Haps Irish Pup is probably the most authentic Irish establishment in East Hyde Park.! Not only do they pour the proper Guiness, it is also home to the biggest St. Patrick celebration in my opinion of all Cincinnati! The only rival for celebration of one's ancestors and culture would be October fest!
Haps Irish Pup is not just a bar, it consists of a gathering of not only neighborhood friends but welcomes all cultures.
If you are a foe or a friend during a soccer match we all get along.
If you are a foe or a friend during a rugby match we again are still friends.
Win or loose we all have pints at the end and more than likely a shot of Jameson!!!!

Great atmosphere. Great people. Great beer. Only gripe is that its cash only, which I can overlook easily and enjoy being there.
