Half and half pizza was absolutely delicious. I was handed an incorrect order at the time of pickup but the gentleman in the front went above and beyond to make up for the slight confusion. Definitely going back for the pizza but also love the fact that they treat their customers very well. Good job guys!!
Undoubtedly the best in Cincinnati. They only do 16". The best part of their pizza is the crust. And that says a lot. Super light with a perfect amount of flakiness to the edges. Not at all oily. Decent amount of toppings. The cheese and the red sauce is really flavorful. You can tell they use high quality ingredients. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian base options as well. They also sell individual dough balls.
Service was great! The pizza... for the category was good. The crust was a bit hard. I feel like New Haven style crust while charred should be hard but still edible. Unfortunately this crust was borderline tooth breaking. Flavors were good all around. The cheese cake was amazing. Highly recommend getting that if you go.
I recently moved here so I've been looking for the best take-out pizza within 15 min of my home base in Norwood. I got the Erie Ave, and it was excellent. This is brick oven style cooked to perfection. The slices weren't floppy but the crust wasn't burnt to a crisp, exactly what you want if you don't like massive NY style pizza. It is a little pricey, but it tasted like high quality dough, sauce, and toppings. Highly recommend, and the pick up is easy because they have a parking lot in front.
July 2023 update - I recently had their Chicago tavern style pizza they only make on Mondays. It's fantastic, some of the best pizza I've ever had. It is super popular so preorder before they open or it'll be sold out.
Best pizza in Cincinnati. It is nice because they let you split half and half specialty pizzas. High price point but it is worth it! They only have one table outside, so most people do takeout. Although we enjoyed eating at that table and they were very accommodating.

We went back for more pizza and added more to our review.
How good is a pizza?
A) When you order enough for 4, only 3 show up and there is no pizza left.
B) When the simplest cheese and tomato pie is as good as the more elaborate creations.
We previously devoured the Pepperoni and Olive. This time we ordered 1/2 Garlic and Greens and 1/2 Mushroom and Onions and One Plain pizza, as well as a Cesar Salad complete with anchovies, croutons and dressing (all ingredients are individually separated, to be combined at home)
The ricotta makes the Garlic and Greens very creamy and delicious. This is our new favorite.
The Mushroom and Onions was not a favorite as it was not as flavorful as the other two which surprised me as the Plain pizza was so delicious that is even better than the mushroom onion pizza.
The Caesar salad lettuce was fresh, had large lettuce leaves with a slightly tangy delicious dressing, accompanied by large croutons, shredded cheese and two containers with anchovies. It is enough for two, but feeds more.
The ingredients chosen by St Francis A Pizza make such a different in the final flavor as well as the treatment they give to their airy, light crust. Their pizza is also light and absolutely not oily.

Our first review of St Francis a Pizza
Delicious pizza. The selected ingredients led to a delightful flavor experience. The crust is both light and airy with a right amount of char. It was easy to eat all of the pepperoni and olive (one size 16”, 8 slices) pizza in one sitting as it was not greasy at all as well as very flavorful. Easy parking also makes it easy to pickup. We will order more of their delicious pies to try other fresh flavors and ingredient combinations.
It took me too long to write this review. Our neighborhood has a newer carryout pizza joint and it is incredible. St. Francis Apizza is a family-owned and operated artisan pizza shop. They were formerly named Parlor Pizza Project when it first opened in early 2021.
First of all their crust is outstanding! It is light, airy, and cooked to a nice crisp. Their housemade fennel sausage is really good and pairs well with jalapenos, onion, or olives.
Another outstanding topping is the local oyster mushrooms. The New Richmond Signature pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, pecorino romano, grana padano, extra virgin olive oil, mushrooms, red onion, and local fresh basil to finish is a favorite of my entire family.
All pizzas are served 16" with 8 slices. They do offer half-and-half pizzas if you would like to try a couple of varieties.
This is truly great pizza. Crispy and airy crust, sauce that isn’t sweet, and great toppings. Love that they have a vegan pepperoni! I’m excited to come back to try more of the menu. It’s right by Ault Park so it makes for a great option to pickup for a picnic! They have small individual pizzas available for lunch on Saturday and Sunday
Great pizza! Thin, crisp, and tangy sauce. If you can't get to New Haven I'd recommend this place. Dave portnoy needs to come here ASAP and I think he'd put it in the 8s

Have been searching for great pizza in Cincy for a long time and the “apizza” name plus the pictures made me think this would be the one…and it absolutely is!!!
Ordered the black pepper cheese bread for starter and it was fantastic. Ordered with extra crispy cook because we like the dark spots and they didn’t disappoint. Perfectly, amazingly crispy, good pepper taste.
Also got the Caesar salad and the home made dressing is great. Aside from being made “the right way” with egg and anchovies, there is a really healthy amount of garlic which offers a really nice bite.
The pizza was half margarita and half pepperoni and hot honey, again extra crisp cook. Pizza was outstanding as well. Some of the best I’ve ever had in my life (grew up in NYC and frequently travel to all over). I could see people who want more sauce or cheese and I’m sure they would oblige if you ask, but it really is the style.
I’m so happy to have found this place. We’ll be back again and again. Get a loyalty program going!
