Reviews Parkette Family Restaurant

We had been to Bridgeport numerous times for various visits to chain restaurants over on "Bridgeport Hill" (we are from Fairmont) but never made our way over here. We were in the middle of a car deal down the road and the salesman gave us a suggestion of The Parkette as a good place to grab a bite while our car was spruced up. I NEVER NEVER expected this little place to be as exceptional as it was. I've driven by here numerous times, but to be honest never even saw it there. Boy am I sorry!! First we ordered the fried pickles. EXCELLENT appetizer. Done to perfection. Been a while since I had these THIS good! Then I ordered the Rib Eye Sandwich and Vegetable Soup. My wife had the fish sandwich. I was not only blown away by the quality of this meal I had today...but also the price. Both of us ate for under $25 and with a $6 tip it came to under $30. Quality food, great price and a wonderful young man that waited on us!! The meat was so tender and the peppers fresh with just the right amount of mozzarella. All on a lightly toasted bread that is literally making my mouth water again as I type this. We plan on making this a regular visit whenever we head south from our home to do business. Forget the big chain restaurants down the road. This place is amazing and can't wait to slowly chip through their menu when we come back!!!

My favorite place to eat in the Clarksburg area.....the House Salad and Hot Turkey Sandwich are beyond compare.....Have tried most of their food and never found a bad dish....and be sure to try an "old fashion" milk shake....

Love this place! When I visit family when I get to come home we always visit Parkette! I can remember when I was in high school my parents would visit Parkette. At that time it was on top on Bridgeport hill!! Has great food!

Very clean, ultra friendly staff, small but varied menu ... definitely will come back!!!
