I've lived in NC since 1994 and have been underwhelmed with the pizza available until now! Took me long enough to find a decent pizza joint, but damn was it worth the wait! The entrees I've had have been top notch as well, with massive portions that heat up well the next day for a delicious second meal. Yum!
Just wanted to write something nice about this fine place. My wife had been here before, but I never have. So for Valentine's dinner out, we both agreed this would be the place to be. They were extremely busy, but the wait wasn't too long. Once inside, we were greeted and treated right at home here. The place was very clean, employees were very nice and the food was awesome. It's a tad bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. You get very generous portions of food. We will definitely be coming back here in the future. Great job guys and gals!
Best pizza I had since moving to metro-Raleigh 5 years ago. The pizza had a delicious crisp crust ...... not "saggy" crust like other places. The sauce and cheese were also delicious. I will be returning soon.
I have been to Anthony's many times. They treat us like family and there menu is top notch. The pizza reminds me of New Jersey.
I'm picky about my food....especially Italian food. I'm from NY and know good pizza and Italian food when I eat it and this place was as good as you will get in NC. Delicious food. The dining area was clean too. Their marinara....delish. The pizza....crispy, thin, just the right amount of sauce and cheese....just needed a tad more salt but other then that it was great. The cannoli was smooth, creamy, filled perfectly, the shell was crispy and not soggy like other places serve. My mom got a stromboli and said it was awesome. We also got eggplant parm and it was crispy, thin, not greasy like some places sell, just the right amount of cheese, the sauce was perfect. I LOVE eggplant parm and this was one of the best I've had in a while. I'm glad they are close to home....just wish they offered delivery.
Excellent pizza. We had a white pizza (best in Clayton) and mushroom (so good). We will most definitely be return clients
The pizza was very tasty! The fettuccine Alfredo looked and tasted soooooo good and my Baked Ziti with Eggplant Parmigiana was the best! Loved the ambiance and the outstanding customer service!
The food was really good. The service was fantastic. We will come back & recommend!
Another great find in Clayton just minutes from my house. My only complaint it was very noisy, but that's because the place was packed. Excellent food and great service. We'll be back.
We've been 3 times and everything we've tried was delicious. The food is always hot and fresh. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Love this place!!
We found this treasure several months ago and have gone back numerous times! Great food and great service!!
Amazing pizza, pasta, and other entrees! Great service, and family vibe! They also do super cute birthday candle things.
Everything was perfect both times I’ve eaten here! Great service and wonderful food!

We always enjoy eating at Anthony’s. And we’ve never been disappointed in food or service!
This place is great! The portion sizes are the opposite of 'shrink-flation' to be sure! Look at the size of the lasagne servings in the picture. The dishes were very tasty too! They do not just shovel a lot of low quality food at you, the meals are delightful!
Came in for a casual family dinner on a Thursday evening. We were a little skeptical due to some mixed google reviews, but we had a great experience. Pizza, mozzarella sticks, and antipasto salads were fantastic. We can’t speak to the pasta dishes since we didn’t order any. Ranch dressing tasted homemade; it was great. We received fantastic service. We were regularly checked on, and waitstaff was great about removing finished plates from our table promptly. We will definitely be back.
The food was amazing my friend Jamie and I asked the waitress what her favorite thing on the menu was she told us chicken rollitini it was amazing
Late lunch, Sunday. We were able to sit readily. Staff was very attentive. We received the oil/balsamic dip for the bread. The bread had a crusty top, soft underneath, and hot from the oven. I got the pesto penne with chicken. The sauce was "dreamy creamy" and coated the pasta well. The pasta was cooked perfectly with some texture-definitely not overdone. I had to ask for more bread because I wanted to get every bit of that sauce after I finished my pasta. Staff were promptly about clearing plates. Staff thought I was finished a couple of times, but I was still working on my sauce. My dish was clean when finished. My friend got the baked ziti. It was ooey, gooey, cheesy. You could see the cheese pull as he ate it. Pasta again cooked perfectly. The sauce was a simple marinara and very flavorful. Excellent meal. Worth every penny.
Ordered a catering for a meeting today and it was outstanding. Not only was the food delicious but the delivery was prompt and professional and courteous. Will definitely use Catering again.
Tried the cheesesteak for the first time here and it was amazing! The pizza was nice and crisp. No flop. Staff was friendly. I am now a regular for sure.
Got the lasagna and it was incredible. And the portion size is huge. Could easily split between two people. Service was excellent
I'd give Five stars if they had garlic bread. What kind of Italian restaurant doesn't have Italian Garlic bread? C'mon guys. I heard three people ask for garlic bread while we were there. Really missing the boat here.
Almost a 5 star experience. Kids spaghetti and meatballs was perfect. The cheese pizza was as giod as you can get in NC. The staff were super friendly. I took 1 star away because of the order in the picture. Who makes a shrimp Frances without pasta? Especially up north people know better to use pasta and not potatoes. Also, cabbage? Why? So close but the most expensive dish at $18.99 was a disappointment.
Nice restaurant. Good pizza, Caesar salad was boring! Went with a group ( didn't eat all these pizza's) I think they should offer more toppings like green olives, artichoke, tomatoes etc. Great they had anchovies!
From the other reviews we were almost tempted to not visit this restaurant but we are glad we did! We didn't know this place was even at this location until we searched for Italian restaurants near us. We were pleasantly greeted, offered our choice of tables (we arrived a little before it started to get busy), and our waitress came to us quickly. The portions here are quite large so considering that it makes the prices quite affordable. The beer was only slightly more than the cost of a soda which was a great surprise. My husband and I could have made a meal off the calamari alone, which by the way was delicious! We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. I ordered the Penne Puttanesca and he ordered a personal pizza. Needless to say we took the whole pizza and most of the Puttanesca home. I totally missed taking pictures while we were there so my pictures are of what we brought home. We will return...especially for the calamari.
Our party of 6 visited today. MacKenzie was working the dining room, take out area and telephone alone and did not miss a beat! She was fantastic!! We ordered zucchini sticks, fried ravioli, eggplant parm, tortellini soup, stromboli, pizza, chicken tenders and french fries. EVERYTHING was delicious! The portions are huge (literally) so you will have left overs. Highly recommend.
