I really like breakfast all day and Waffle House provides a good, consistent version with lots of choices. Service is really good unless they are swamped, then it can be a bit slow. The atmosphere is classic diner style.
The food is an easy five stars!! You get a lot for a little in terms of cost. However, Waffle Houses have always been plagued by the fact that their restaurants (to include this particular location) are not the cleanest, and staff can sometimes be a little rude to customers and A LOT rude to each other. However, in my opinion, their omelettes and hash-browns are the best food items they offer- not their waffles (but they're solid too).
We love ❤️ this place. The food was fantastic. The staff is attentive and professional. Ashley and Zadie are a cut above. We drive from Smithfield to the Clayton NC, locaton because the Smithfield and Selma locations are not up to par, for us. Thank you so very much for the great experience. 👍 Joyce and James

Great staff. Lots of people working. The parking lot was full but there wasn't a wait for a table. That means that the food was coming out of the kitchen quickly and people were happy with the quality. I am included in that statement. Great job Waffle House!
This location is consistently clean, which may be a bit difficult at times for a Waffle House due to the constant flow of customers. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Waffle was done but could have been cooked just a little bit longer. Nonetheless and overall, good experience.
My Grandson was here from Texas love your waffles so said you'll didn't have strawberries .
Very good food and friendly staff I love how when I order take out and get home with it the food is so amazing and exactly as I ordered it. And I have special orders man is very picky 🎊💯
Shout out to Ashanti and the third shift crew with her. She was attentive, food was great, fast, and their banter is top notch. They clearly work hard and deserve the best for how much love they put into this place.
I'll have to swing by with the girlfriend for third shift more often. 💖
