Really enjoyed my patty melt burger at 5 Star Burgers so much so I apparently forgot to take a picture of my burger. The staff was really friendly and we were seated at a nice table outside on their patio. They also have a good selection of beer to go along with your burger and they have regular fries and sweet potato fries. Very enjoyable and would happily eat at this restaurant again.

After a long morning of delivering hot Cocoa to all my real estate clients. We stopped at 5 Star Burgers. I had the Gateway burger and Steve had a 5-Star burger - they were both wonderful. We got a mixed basket of sweet potato fries and regular. It came with a yummy sauce. I highly recommend.

A recent visit to this burger place called "5 Star Burgers'" left me thoroughly impressed. The inviting atmosphere, delicious signature burger, and attentive service stood out. I ordered the 'Korean Hot' a fried chicken sandwich with an authentic Korean sauce over pickles and a sort of pickled pepper, which was hot. High-quality ingredients and flavorful combinations made the meal memorable and I liked the spice. The only downside for me was the somewhat limited vegetarian burger options, but overall, it's a standout option for burger lovers. With a little more focus on diversifying their vegetarian offerings, it could easily earn a full five-star rating. Also, the ambience was nice. I sat outside and enjoyed the weather. And the lovely City of Clayton.

We stayed at the Clayton Residence inn and there are many dining options around. My kids wanted burgers so we decided to give Five Star burger a try based on the good reviews. We ordered blue ribbon and spicy green chile burgers. Although I didn’t expect much, the burgers are outstanding even I asked well done. Next day, I ordered the friend chicken burger, the fried chicken could’ve been the best one I have had for last few years. The staff are very friendly too.

The perfectly cooked burger with innovation. It is not true this is a small burger chain started in California. Creative burger options on the menu. I got the burger with the wine. Glazed onions and Gorgonzola cheese. Perfectly cooked to a medium rare. Simple, Caesar salad was really enjoyable. Would definitely come back for a good burger here

I was surprised by the menu, quite affordable. About $9 or so for a burger, no side. But a good sized burger at that. Maybe $3 or so for a side. Compared to fast food I mean. Staff was wonderful. Our group was supposed be quite large and they accommodated us despite having no reservations. Ah and the cocktails! Love seasonal cocktails

Food is always delicious, and well priced! The five star burger is worthy of its name. The sweet potato fries with the aioli are INCREDIBLE! Service can be a bit slow at times (it seems to be mostly younger servers), but it’s worth the wait.

I parked on the back side of the building and walk through this lovely gangway with tables and chairs. The outside patio is definitely a lovely outside experience. The lighting, right next to the road, and overall comfortable seating. Inside is decorated with these lovely stars, and I must say they're lemonade is delicious. I will say that they only make so much lemonade, when they're out they seem to be out. I think I had three or four glasses of lemonade before they seem to cut me off. But it was very delicious. The burgers are pretty good size, and the flavor on them is very nice. They're five star burger seems to be the standard. I also tried their gateway burger. Which is also very good with their onion rings. The french fries are pretty good. Wish they were a little bit crispier but overall nice. Finally their Korean chicken that I took home. Definitely has some heat. It has a really good flavor to it. The heat is just a little high. I do enjoy spicy food. As long as the flavor matches the spice. I think they could turn down the spice a little bit. The flavor on it is wonderful. But unfortunately the spice is a little overpowering for what it is. I do love spicy foods like curry. So I'm definitely not a stranger to spicy foods. I just found this one's flavor to spice ratio was off. My suggestion would be have them turn down the spice I would say 35%. And leave the flavor where it is. If you do decide to get this chicken and there's no way for them to turn down the spice. I would suggest getting a side of ranch, the chicken was actually really enjoyable dipping it in some ranch sauce. The spiciness was muffled by the ranch and the other flavors of the chicken accented well with the ranch dressing. Overall a very nice little restaurant. Definitely a good place for a date night.

5 Star Burgers gets 5 stars from my family. Burgers, Fries, and Onion Rings were all delicious. Takes a special restaurant to impress both adults and kids. I got a burger with Hatch green chilis. It was delicious. My wife said the homemade veggie burger was one of the best she has ever had. Kids got a burger and grilled cheese/tomato soup. Mixed drink was really good too. Bourbon, lime, pineapple and cherry. Service was friendly. Great location in Clayton, MO.

This day on our New Year’s Eve (12-31-22), our first time to visit and try this place. And in fairness we are satisfied of what we order. The burgers are really good even the grilled veggies and sweet potatoes fries we had. Not to mention the server are all nice. Kudos!🙌😋😁

Outstanding all around. Great selection and nearly everything on the menu is great. I do wish they’d bring back the fried cauliflower that was our favorite thing on the menu pre-pandemic. Happy hour is great, atmosphere is neat (bookshelf of kids books inside!!), staff always very welcoming and attentive.

The burgers here are amazing. The 5 Star Burger is their classic item. The buttermilk fried chicken was also surprisingly good. They also have a “burger of month” for those who like trying new things. I loved the cute fry basket that the appetizers come in.

Top shelf burgers. Great flavor. Excellent service. When your kid knocks over a glass of water, they attend to you quickly. Speaking of kids, my daughters comments are: Good! And the tables are waterproof. Milkshake is icecreamy without too much cream.

Having dined at five star burger for years it is consistently one of the best burger experiences. Hard not to get a mushroom burger every time because it is sooo delicious. But fries, chocolate shake, chicken sandwich - pretty much everything on the menu is worth ordering. 😁

This place is really cool! It offers multiple seating options including a bar, tables, booths, and high window seat options. Yes, I’m one of “those” people who orders a “well” done burger (I’m just not a fan of the pink no matter how juicy). This has been thee ONLY restaurant that has mastered giving me a JUICY well done burger. It was absolutely delicious and NOT burnt in any fashion. PERFECTION… I ordered the Blue Ribbon burger and subbed out the Gorgonzola cheese for Cheddar.

We got a mushroom burger and a Caesar salad with fish on top. Taste is great, but mushroom burger had onions on it, which we specifically requested removed when ordering. Taste was terrific, showed high quality of food prep. Everything eelse also good and tasty. We will be back.

It was okay. Sweet potato fries were too salty. The gateway burger was good.
