Just WOW. 10/10 would recommend the Lox �, French toast ��, Bloody Mary ��� (wouldn’t have hated some celery & bacon in that drink- spice wise though, perfection). Olivia was a rockstar server too.
Amazing food! Great service! Small private room was great for entertaining clients. Quiet enough to hear all the conversations at the table which made it very enjoyable. One of my clients had a birthday and the desert sampler platter was out of this world!!!! Highly recommend!!!
Food was modern and delicious with a wide variety, yet not too much. We felt we received good value for the high quality. Service was over the top great - the staff catered with diligent care to our preferences. We appreciated all the cheerful efforts.

My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Herbie's on Saturday. We ordered the five course chefs choice with wine pairings. What an amazing experience! The chef came to our table and "interviewed" us regarding our preferences etc. Then came five incredible courses prepared just for us. Our wine steward was very knowledgeable and really fun to converse with. The chef delivered each course with an in-depth description of how each was prepared. It truly was the best service and most enjoyable dining experience I've had! Keep up the good work. Can't wait to come back!
Simple yet elegant. The service was top notch and so was the food. We didn't have to ask for drink refills. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I can't wait to come back!

Just phenomenal service and seating. Food was very fast to get to us and delicious! Price was pretty fair per entree as well. Definitely recommend to anyone willing to try a fancier restaurant!

My parents used to go to Baliban's... even before it was called that. It's where my wife and I went on our FIRST date... and many many more in the last 25 years. Even if the location has changed, it's still our favorite in St Louis.
Management, bar staff, wait staff and others always seem to want to make everybody feel welcome and comfortable. Then the food comes.
In the 45 years I've been going for brunches, dinners, just drinks and special events here, there has ever been just one thing I didn't care for... and still, I don't care for brussel sprouts. The food has always been wonderful and consistent.
Favorite date night destination with the best patio in STL. Freshest oysters I've had in STL and I come from the coast and know a fresh oyster.
Amazing! We hosted a 30th birthday party for my wife in the Wine Cellar room. The wait staff was very accommodating, the food was delicious, and the room was beautiful. We had close to 50 guests and everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend Herbie's for your private event.
Food was very delicious - came for Sunday brunch and got the eggs Benedict and chicken and waffles. Also got the mimosa carafe, which has a decent amount of champagne, worth it if you’re looking for boozy brunch! It’s on the pricier side but it was good for a fancier brunch date.
What a delight! Had a fantastic Birthday dinner! Reservations were simple to make about a week in advance and there was good availability for a Tuesday night. The parking situation isn’t great, but after a few minutes I found some street parking nearby. There’s construction going on at the corner near the entrance, but it really didn’t interfere too much with getting inside. The patio was full with the weather being so nice, but we opted to dine inside. The bar area was quaint and the multiple dining areas made for a peaceful dining experience. It wasn’t too loud and we were able to enjoy our dinner and company with ease. Campaign delivered to our table, crab cake app was fantastic, caprese was delish and the filet was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend for business dinners, happy hour, special occasion or just because!
Great happy hour. Busy! But service was good. The jalapeño tequila margarita was interesting. Definitely required the salted rim. All the apps we were good from the fries to the calamari to the cheese curds to the shrimp. Would definitely go back again.
My daughter and I wanted a nice meal out to finish our vacation to visit family. I made a reservation without any prior knowledge... I was not disappointed! The Cadillac Margarita was very well made, the appetizers were a large portion and delicious. The tables outside were well spaced and it was easy to have a conversation with those at your table and not hear other tables.
Absolutely fantastic brunch! My wife did the breakfast sandwich with bacon, while I did the burger. That bacon jam is so good i asked to take it all home. 😅 Two thumbs way up for this place.

As a realtor I’m always looking for a good place to take clients. Oceana Bistro definitely fits the bill. We walked in at lunchtime and were able to get a table right away. The service was exceptional. Thank you, Sheahan. The food was wonderful. The steak sandwich was tender, perfectly cooked, and on great bread. My table mate had the smashed salmon sandwich (which was a daily special) he said it was fantastic. The french fries were a pleasant surprise!
Anniversary dinner was exceptional. We had a great time. Herbies has a unique dining experience. Love the open windows concept and the fire grill outside.
Celebrated with my sister's this past Saturday. Food was okay. We had chicken and waffles, steak and eggs, Cheese Burger, and someone tried the Hash. It was the brunch menu, no complaints except I like when the waiter doesn't completely disappear after a good tip without at least picking up a few plates.

The food and service are both top notch. Be aware that portions are fairly huge, so just share a plate with a loved one unless you are really hungry. Art work inside is really well done and adds to the ambience. Love the vibe here, and will be back!
Its good to say that on weekends they dont work with the lunch menu. I did not know that.
Was able to get us seated for brunch right away without a reservation. Service was exceptional. Food and drinks were very good. We were traveling from Kansas City where food is life and we were very impressed. Will be back for sure!
Ethan was our server for the evening. He was so nice and attentive. We had the Caesar salad for our appetizer, hoisin glazed salmon for both entrees (so flavorful!), and dark chocolate bread pudding for dessert. The drink of the night was the lemon drop. It is so good! This is my second visit and we will be back soon.
This was my first time dining at Herbies, however, it won't be my last time. The restaurant was very.nice and cozy. They have inside and outside dining. The restaurant was very clean and neat. The service was wonderful!
I ordered pan seared salmon, fried Brussels sprouts, and Herbies chopped salad for dinner. Delicious 😋! The salad is made with Napa cabbage instead of lettuce. 😲 OMG! If you're a salad lover like myself please try it! They're not real expensive. I have added a few photos so you can see for yourself!
On Sunday, 11/28/21, my friends and I met at Herbies for Brunch, it was awesome! Two of my friends chose chicken and waffles for Brunch, meanwhile my other friend and myself ate steak, potatoes, and eggs. Yummy 😋!
