This is the place for seafood! Can't think of any words that better reflect the service, food & drink...sensational, exceptional or superb! Extensive wine list and a perfect martini....we will definitely be back.

EVERYTHING about this restaurant was exceptional. Appetizers we had the shrimp and grits and the calamari...delicious!! For our meals, we had the lobster roll (served cold) and the scallops (the cranberry chutney was sooo good)....scrumptious. Dessert, we had the apple crisp and the pecan tart...amazing. The server Andrea was superb. We even got a chance to meet Michael, one of the chefs. This place is just great. If you are in St. Louis, EAT HERE!!!

Had an early Valentine's Day dinner. Shrimp and grits was fabulous, wedge salad was large enough to share, sea bass was to die for, Brussels sprouts were fabulous, fries were typical, and husband's steak and lobster were fine. He was a little disappointed in it for the price, but why order steak at seafood restaurant? Overall excellent and would go back on a special occasion. Bill was high but worth it.

The food was amazing, id recommend the Hawaiian tuna tartare for an appetizer it was out of this world with the avocado mousse, and spicy aoli it was paired with. The place is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff is beyond top notch. The bartenders are fantastic, and the management team is bar none. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved the food and how our waiter John Collins catered to me and my mom in the mother's day while being cognizant that we were dining with children. Their food was brought out with our appetizer so they wouldn't be antsy. I love people who have a heart for kids. The atmosphere was great as well. We will definitely return!

Always amazing food and atmosphere, but this time Pierre Chamblin and his staff went out of their way to make the evening extra special. Truly the best seafood experience currently in STL.

We had an outstanding dinner last night. Our server, John Collins, was quick, accommodating and made us feel welcome and comfortable. The seafood is FRESH! Oysters were on special and for $2 a pop they were fantastic. Crab legs were delicious. We also tried four of their signature cocktails and they were so so good. Loved the atmosphere, staff and food. I want to go there everyday. Haha! Thank you, 801 Fish. You're my new favorite. ❤️

Last night was my husband and I first time visiting. All I can say is the service & food was absolutely amazing. We have told our friends about our experience and now they are excited to visit. Last but not least the staff were amazing along with a wonderful manager. My husband picked a wonderful place for us to celebrate our anniversary!

801 Fish is overpriced. I assume it's overpriced because of the location and also because of the freshness of the fish. The food itself is ok. The shrimp & shishito tempura was mostly breading, no seasoning, and overcooked. The brussels sprouts were good, the mussels were delicious. The sauce the mussels came in was nice and well-seasoned. The drinks were good but definitely not necessary to be $16 - $18 dollars for an 8oz cup that was mostly ice or a huge ice cube. The entrees were good. The Blue Snapper and the halibut were tasty, slightly overcooked. The garnish was nice as well. to pay $40- $50 for a smedium-size fish was overpriced. Our server, Robin was great. She had great knowledge of the dishes and made good recommendations based on the menu. She was attentive and made sure we were doing well throughout our meal. She was friendly and made pleasant conversation. Our food came out in good timing, and the hostess was nice. I am grateful they validate parking. They do have valet service. The restaurant itself is a nice place. Loved the decor and the ambiance. The music was a nice touch. This is my second time coming to 801 Fish and I can say its an ok experience.

Excellent across the board. We had fried rice as one of many appetizers. Which is pictured. We also had salmon, and lobster. All very delicious.

Great seafood place with outstanding service, extensive menu, delicious food and very nice setting. The oysters were very well presented and had the nice little touches of discerning places like the lemon pouch and the small spoons for the mignonette. The lobster bisque was maybe our least favorite, a different spin on bisque than we are used to, good nevertheless, if not a tad bland. My cioppino was delicious so were the linguine & clams. Overall awesome experience.

Excellent seafood restaurant. Had the Hamachi appetizer and the Branzino and lobster fried rice. The fish was butterflied, which does change the taste somewhat. I normally prefer it cooked whole. Extensive winelist.

Just went there for dinner for our anniversary and had an amazing experience. The service was great and the food was unbelievable. Everything was so fresh and the portions were bigger than I expected. Even though it costs more than your average restaurant, the level of quality all round makes it value for money.

The drinks, the fish, everything was excellent. Very glad I had time to grab dinner here. The cocktail menu was very well thought out. Update: 1 year later and it's still excellent.

I've eaten here several times. Everything is magical. They have the best crab cakes...anywhere. The calamari is one of my favorites. I've had the Chilean Seabass and Ahi Tuna. It's always incredible. Great drinks, desserts, apps...all good. Service exceptional. 6 stars isn't available but it should be.

I have wanted to go to 801 Fish for quite a while and it did not disappoint. We went during Clayton Restaurant Week and every course was the perfect portion. My husband's allergies were more than accommodated for and everything was delicious. I can't wait to return.
