We tried the soft shell crab, truffle wagyu, fried chicken, lobster, and teriyaki bacon bao. All were so good! We also had the katsu curry and the kids liked it. We'll come back. Give it a try!

Service was amazing and felt very personal The food was delicious. I highly recommend the lobster nachos as a starter All the bao buns were fantastic but my favorite was the soft shell crab. We will definitely be back.

The food was delicious, the vibe and ambiance reminded me of gastro pubs in Asia, so that was a plus! The best crispy gyoza and Thai milk tea in stl imo.

We had some food, pork belly, some bao, fries and cocktails. All are well balanced. Very impressed. Whoever cooking there, they know what they are doing. Staffs are very friendly. It is not only modern but keep authentic tastes, too. Highly recommended.

What a great place to enjoy some spicy crafted cocktails and enjoy small portions of Asian delicacy!! A nice date night place - reservation recommended! Addition to initial review: downgraded to 4 star….the cocktails were subpar. Found out that in absence of their bartender their manger was making the drinks… Fries are ordinary. Popcorn Chicken Yuzu flavor is great!

Came here for a friends birthday. Service was amazing, and had a cozy atmosphere. Crispy shrimp bao and spicy lobster bao were my favorite. Will be back especially for the spicy lobster nachos!

Everything was great! From the food to the service! I ordered the Shredded beef curry over jasmine rice. So flavorful and filling! Their baos are good too! I ordered the bbq pork bao. Thank you so much!

Cool atmosphere, friendly staff (a very knowledgeable bar tender) and delicious cocktails!!! Their unique cocktails range from $12-$15 and are worth every penny! We also ordered the fried chicken bao and it was top notch. I highly recommend the “not your grandma’s martini!” 👍🏼👍🏼

This place sparked my interest because I was looking for pretty cocktails and they had the pictures to match. Well! They don’t have a bartender until 5pm so don’t go there anytime before that if you like cocktails with your meal. The ambiance was nice and they have pretty good music playing which is always a plus. The food was great! I got the survivor bao that allows you 3 different bao with fries. Everything came out hot and fresh. Let’s start with apps tho. The veggie spring rolls were nice and crispy and filling was typical veggie but good. The yuzu popcorn chicken was definitely the star for me! Once you popped it was soooo hard to stop. My friend and I both got the survivor bao. I got teriyaki bacon…the bacon was good but the pork floss kind made the whole thing dry and hard to chew…then there was mala hot chicken…definitely very spicy, crunch on chicken was phenomenal and it was nice and juicy…last was the spicy lobster…once again nice and spicy but this wasn’t my favorite just think a sushi roll in a bao bun. What was a bit disappointing for me is that they don’t have your typical bao, with the buns your filling is sliding out of the bun and hard to keep together especially for the chicken sandwiches. My friend had spicy lobster…which neither of us enjoyed…fried chicken…which was similar to the hot chicken…and the crispy shrimp…that was her favorite…its one shrimp but big and flavorful. I would go back for dinner to try their cocktails and more yuzu chicken

My Friday night go to. I actually always get carry out and have yet to dine in. One thing that really sets The BAO apart is the attention to detail they put into their dishes. The service is also top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they always make sure I have everything I need. Definitely recommend!

I was extremely pleased to see an establishment not using one use plastics, kudos on that decision. Paper straws and wooden spoons! We were greeted with a smile, left with one on our faces and satiated. The food was really fun and tasted great. The decor was sophisticated. The service excellence. The drink choices fun and savvy. One of my favorite dishes is soft shell crab and theirs was well prepared and made me want more. Wasn’t crazy about the fried spring roll. On the weekends do make a reservation. Bon appetite.

When entering the restaurant, I was surprised it was kinda dark. The atmosphere of the restaurant it felt really welcoming. The waitress was really respectful, kind and he was willing to explain the kind of food they had in the menu. I recommend any one that wants to try asian fusion restaurants to go the bao.

The BAO restaurant It is a beautiful place. The serviced was good, my food was yummy I love the flavor of the curry and shrimp. But I think they should mark their food if it is something is spicy 🌶️. Because not everyone like spicy food. Also, when there’s a big group they should ask if they want one check or separate check because not everyone consumes the same amount and a lot of people not be agree to pay the same amount when they consume less.

Tonight was our first time at BAO & 10/10 recommend - the food was AMAZING, the service was great (attentive and so friendly), and the drinks were delicious and unique (like nothing you could make at home). Everything was well worth the price! The ambiance and music is also very fun. If you are looking for a good date night or place to take the family, this is the spot!

I understand that the food has been eaten but it was because I was so lost in how good the food was. To the left are the spring rolls. Very affordable but it took the prize for tasting extremely delicious. The Combo BOA 2 was to the right and the food was tasty. I truly recommend this place as a “must try”. The service was exceptional and they were able to make accommodations for our table (went from 4 to 6 people).

My fiance and I came in for a late lunch the other day and had a great experience. Our server was very friendly and attentive and the food was great. My favorite thing we got was the yuzu chicken. It was absolutely delicious. We both got the pick 2 combo. If you get an appetizer I'd recommend the pick 2 combo, if not I'd recommend getting the pick 3 combo if you are getting baos.

My English classmates and I went to the Bao restaurant last week. The environment was great but I didn’t watch good because is a darkness for me.However I felt very comfortable, calm, and relax me with my friends. The Chinese meal was based the noodles, with shrimp, different vegetables, and one egg. This Chinese meal was delicious, a little spicy, hot, and the egg was tasty.
