I moved here from Denver so I’m a Mexican food snob and this is seriously one of the best places in town!!!! I highly recommend a wet burrito with line rice, black beans, and enchilada sauce!!!
The family meal from Mayana was amazing! Such a wonderful break from cooking in the middle of the work week. It was plenty of food for my family of five and we still have lunch leftovers. My three young boys loved all of it. The chicken was delicious and all of the sides and toppings made it feel like a Fiesta! Ordering was super straightforward and easy. Best of all, the pricing was just right! Thanks, Mayana for offering a healthy and fun family meal menu for working moms like me!!
All these years I’ve been fooled by the Qdoba and Chipotle Culture :(. This place is the best! Thank god they have Door Dash specially while studying!
We get the family dinner and bring it home. It is awesome. Very flavorful and lots of food. Also the cost is very reasonable. Highly recommend!
They've elevated the Mexican fast-casual formula with made-to-order flour tortillas, high quality ingredients, and generous portions. All at a price point comparable to the chains.
Just had lunch there with my wife today. The steak burrito I had was awesome! Fresh ingredients and the flour tortilla was pressed on the spot. My wife had nachos and they were good! Tortilla chips were made fresh. Qdoba and Chipolte will have a lot of competition. Little seating available but its in Clayton so understandable.
I have been ther twice now after the lunch crowd. The man working there was very helpful my first time and I ordered the Wet Burrito. By the time he was done it looked like a work of art! It was fresh and delicious! Very large portion, my second visit back a week later was just as good! The worker was friendly and knowledgeable and served a great product?
I had the wet burrito with steak and shrimp, the flavors were amazing with each bite. Loved the decor and the staff was super friendly and welcoming! Cannot wait to go back, and try all the other items on the menu.
The food was freshly prepared and absolutely fantastic. The fried bread taco was just so good. It is a meal. Staff were all very friendly. Best of luck to you all.

Great spot! If you like Chipotle, you'll LOVE this place! Hate to compare but they're in the same realm.
The fresh made tortillas are a nice touch, they press and grill them right in front of you and you can definitely taste the difference from packaged ones.

Great fast Mexican food. I had a good quesadia, but was jealous of my friends that got the smothered burritos. I guess I know what to order next time. The fresh made tortillas were good and the house made salsas had really good flavor. Even when the line was long, the service was fast and we didn't wait too long to get food. A great place to stop for lunch if you're in the Clayton area.
I prefer their quality over nearby competitors. Great staff and they have a rewards program that nets you a benefit after 12 visits if I recall, I used it for a free lunch one day. Clearly a place I visit frequently. Get there early or expect Clayton lines. --Corrected the number of visits for a reward.

10/18 Update: Was quickly contacted by Mayana management and was offered a credit towards a meal. I returned for lunch today and was pleased to see that the small quantity was in fact a one-off occurrence. I appreciate their commitment to their business and customers. I try my best to support the local restaurants over chains and the quality of Mayana's food is far superior to Chipotle and Qdoba. This will continue to be one of my (and my colleagues') favorites for lunch in the Clayton area.
Had I written this last week I would have given them five stars. However, I guess they have changed their policy to provide the smallest quantities of food possible. Except for the rice, every part of my bowl, including the chicken, was no more than a half scoop and when I asked for shredded cheese they gave me a pinch. By the end, my to-go bowl was barely half full when it usually is almost overflowing. I would have said something but I needed to leave. Maybe they were hinting that I need to lose some weight? Also, there were only four people in the line and it still took 15 min. to get our food. I may go there one more time to confirm and I will be happy to change this review if this is just a one-time occurrence, but if this is now the standard, they have lost a loyal customer. I'd rather go to the Chipotle down the street. Same price and I won't be starving after finishing the meal. Very disappointed.
The food is great, there is plenty to choose from and I believe the pricing is just right. Pretty good service, would have like to seen more salsa when it was needed without asking and needs a bigger waiting area. I would definitely this place to anyone!
Didn't really have high expectations for this place because I'm not that into Mexican food, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a little similar to a Qdoba or Chipotle. I got the bowl with fajita steak and they cooked fresh steak for us. It was really delicious! Although they were a little skimpy on the filler ingredients like rice and beans, but very liberal with the guac and queso which I found a little different. I was hoping for some fresh lime or lemon to add from the condiment counter but didn't see any available. Other than those things, the food was actually very good and I'll probably be back soon!
We have used Mayana for multiple catering events for work, and it is the only place where the food is a hit with everyone! They have good options for the vegetarians also. Alex and Chrissy are always wonderful to work with, prompt, and the service is outstanding. We will continue to use them in the future!
Don't be mislead by the 5 stars that this is a great Mexican place to eat, I am just kind and really besides not being 100 percent authentic Mexican this place is decent to eat at. I say not 100 percent not because of it's scratch kitchen but something about the tortilla shells not being good at all. Same for some of the seasoning on the protein as well. The guacamole is amazing and freshly made. That was the highlight and how well the staff knew of the menu! If you want authentic Mexican tacos, I would suggest going to a hole in the wall where no one speaks English like El Pueblito Taqueria off first capital or La Tejana Taqueria off mid Lindberg.

Came in today around 3pm. Meat is made fresh to order. Chips are made in house and are not like your regular chips, they are flakey and more like chalupa bread/tortilla. If you are expecting chipotle or another chain mexican place YOU ARE WRONG. They shake it up with summer salsa and delicious guacamole. I ordered the Mucho Nacho with Shrimp and Steak. I paid less than $10 and had more food than I could eat. Very satisfying, definitely filling and will be recommending again and again.
It’s chipotle meets Taco Bell in the best possible way. Lots of melty cheese and indulgent meats. The fry bread is especially good when it’s fresh.
You can have them put a cheese blend over it, then stick it under a broiler for a few seconds. 🔥🔥🔥🔥it’s amazing.
MAYANA'S is a Great Place! Perfect nachos and the steak is to die for. Service is always great and friendly. Repeat Customer over 10 times. Will be back again soon :)
This place is amazing. It's like Chipotle only in format. The food is simply much better than Chipotle as well. I had great service too and will be coming back often instead of Chipotle
