Excellent food and service. I had baked ziti and Hubby had spaghetti. It was absolutely delicious. It was seasoned to perfection. The garlic rolls were so good. There was plenty of parking, including handicap parking. It is very easy to maneuver through the restaurant with a wheelchair or scooter
This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. The fettuccine Alfredo is the 2nd best I've ever eaten. 1st place belongs to my wife. Lol. My wife loved her Calamari. The mountain view is amazing! The service is fantastic! Our server was very friendly. I can see why it's so popular. I definitely recommend this place!
My first time at this eatery, always passing by on my way to Mountians and saw parking lot always full. Today I give a try and check out to see all the words people talking about!
1st Service: our server was great very attentive friendly and kind. Restaurant was packed with people on Monday evening around 8:15 but he manage to keep happy every one.
2nd Food: they have pretty good size menu for everyone taste.
I order Florentine pizza and Alfredo fettuccine both were delicious is it and cooked to perfect.
Make sure Oder extra plate charge $3.50 for bigger portion so you can take it home left over.

Very good Italian food. Chicken Parm was great with excellent sauce. Will get busy, but the kitchen is fast at getting food out. One of the best garlic knots to be had
Great place to eat, a locals favorite! Full bar and legit Italian food. Their meat sause for my wife's mushroom ravioli was very good! My scallops and shrimp were nicely cooked, and the pink sauce was beautiful! We had eaten there years ago, and this meal surpassed our expectations.
Two kids both had spaghetti and meatballs. They loved it!! My wife had linguine and clam sauce. She loved it! Chicken marsala for me. I loved it! It was filled with mushrooms and very tasty. Garlic rolls were a bit hard but not enough to run the visit. 4 stars on service just because my glass went empty, and the server never returned once food was dropped. We DID have everything we needed, and he was very pleasant. Would 100% recommend and 100% go back.
You’re never sure about a place, even with good ratings, until you try it yourself. This is a great and unexpected place in Clayton, GA. The food was absolutely wonderful and plentiful. You will not leave hungry and the price is very reasonable ($65 for two/with drinks & plenty to take home). We will be bringing our family back on our next trip through the area.
Fast service, absolutely loved the outdoor seating. I asked the waiter if they could make me a lasagna with spicy sausage, and they not only did. (So thankful they make things fresh) but it was delicious!!!!
what an unexpected restaurant in clayton - exceptional service and dishes! the restaurant is along the highway so it is easy to find. big parking area. wide indoor and outdoor sitting. clean and cozy. the food is very tasty, so delicious! i love my clam lenguine. the garlic rolls are a winner! very generous serving size - a plate's good for 2 people. the staff are very friendly, we love everyone of them.
We visited this restaurant while in town. Pizza was pretty good! Hubby really wanted the veal but we were a little early as the waitress stated it’s not available until 5pm. Drinks were decent as well.
My wife and I went to the north Georgia mountains hoping to see the fall colors. Little did we know a gem of a restaurant was nearby, an Italian restaurant at that. We really loved our food and the service was excellent. Prices were not bad either. We could tell by the number of cars in the parking lot that it must have been a local favorite.
Who would have thunk it! A really good pizza in Clayton, GA? I was so pleased. Not only is the food awesome but the customer service was top notch as well. The pizza was prepared and cooked to perfection with nice bubbles in the crust. The sauce is very good. I highly recommend it and will certainly stop there again on my next trip to the mountains.
The wife and I have been here many times over the past six months. We've always had great food and good service.
I've tried most of the items on their menu and can heartily recommend the calzones and the eggplant Parmesan ( the true test of an Italian restaurant, in my opinion) along with the pizza, which has an excellent crust.
If you're in the Clayton area, give them a chance, you won't be disappointed.
Food is always hot and well prepared. I've been several times, and it is as consistent as you hope it would be. Service has been excellent. The pizza is absolutely delicious! The vibe gives you all the feels of an old school pizzeria. The smell of pasta and baking bread hits your nose as soon as you walk in. Love this place!
We were driving through town and stopped in at Mama G's. The service was fantastic, drinks were spot on and the food was incredible. The garlic knots, house salad, lobster ravioli (with marinara and Alfredo mix per the waitresses recommendation) and veal Marsala were absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor and try it out!
I had a large group that all enjoyed Mama G's 100%. I highly recommend it to anyone going through this area. Unfortunately, it will not be me as I refuse to drive through Tallulah Falls ever again. They enforce a photo speeding fine violation program for their school district area on the highway that will get you an undisputable ticket even if you are not speeding and are outside of the posted school zone.
The service could be better. We waited over 10 min to get service and we asked for a large pizza and we got a small pizza. And it was not busy that day. But the food is very very good! The garlic rolls were fantastic! We had a House Special Pizza.
