My fiance and I just had a wonderful dinner tonight at Moena's. The music was relaxing, the waiter did a fantastic job, and our meal was perfect to the last bite. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who asks!
Always, always enjoy Moena. Love the atmosphere, the food, staff & owners. I highly recommend Moena Restaurant.
I’ve been going to this fine eatery for some years now, the summer and winter menu’s are always spectacular and how can you not love buying a bottle of wine for what you would pay at a store! Wait staff is always wonderful and helpful not at all stuffy what you would expect for an upscale eatery. Quit reading and GO!
Lovely place to eat great food and the service is fantastic!! Love the owners!! Thank you Rob, Laura and little Maggie!!
Love it here!!! This is my husbands favorite place to go for 🥩 in Clearfield! We get to eat here at least twice a year. Always had a great experience with our service and excellent food!!

My Delmonico steak was perfectly medium rare. The rest of my food was excellent was well. Nice beer selection (wish they had Race Street Brew Works). Overall a great experience.
We are at this restaurant probably 15 years ago(???). My grandmother was originally from this area and we brought her back for a drive shortly before she passed. While there we happened upon this restaurant and we all still talk about it. Hoping to revisit very soon. While there we had a wonderful dessert, a cake with filling. Do you still have this ????? It made quite an impact lol. Along with everything else we had. Wonderful!!!!!
If you're in Clearfield, this is a great place for a dinner and a nightcap!
I'm not sure there's anything that could have been done that would have caused me to be more impressed. The atmosphere was wonderful, the wait staff was delightful and helpful and the food was excellent. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for giving us such a great dining experience.
This place is a hidden gem in the middle of PA - we went to see Puxatony Phil and drove around town - it got pretty late and my kids were hungry- on the way back to our hotel in Harrisburg we found this restaurant- it was 8:20pm and they were closing at 9pm.
My daughter went in and they told her they were still serving and we went in.
So glad we did.
The waitress Lori was the sweetest person we met today.
She was polite, smiled and have a really good attitude- we felt like we were at her dinner table.
Our meal was great.
Fresh ingredients- seasoned well- cooked just right.
We had a wonderful dinner, the ambience and music was just perfect.
Please stop by if you are in the area, you will not regret coming here, wonderful people and great food.
Compliment’s to Lori and the Chef.
We will be back again.
PS. Thanks for the tip about the Elks, we will be visiting soon.
The wait staff was excellent. The food was really good tried the salmon and I would recommend comes with a peach salsa. Also for an appetizer would definitely recommend the Truffle Fries sooooo delicious
My girlfriend and I decided to make the hour plus drive for a saturday night date away from the usual resturants in our area. To say it was worth the drive is an understatement. The buliding has that old charm and feel to it that just welcomes you in, the large front windows offer good light and a nice view of the outside. The staff was amazing, I wish i could remember all there names but they all went above and beyond the entire evening. The food was excellent all while keeping the price affordable which is something you rarely see anymore but with everything going on currently its much appreciated. I will leave you with this, try the truffle fries and if you get pasta try the homeade noodles they are offering that day.
The Best Italian wedding soup I have ever had. They claim it is homemade, and I believe it. I'm including a picture of it. It has the meatballs AND shredded chicken breast, which only elevated it for me. Full of flavor, and you know that for me, Flavor is King!
For dessert, they claim the owners mother makes them all from scratch. I've no reason to doubt. I ordered the lemon something pie. Closely resembles key lime pie, but lighter with a nice smooth lemon flavor and excellent Graham Crissy and not heavy at all .. very airy, in a good way! I enjoyed that.
For entree I ordered the cucumber walleye salmon (about $21 as I recall). That was NOT enjoyable at all. I asked beforehand how they prepared it, and was told "medium / medium rare". I like it more on the medium rare side, but this was prepared fully medium if not medium well as it was very dry! That was very disappointing, so I didn't bother past two bites. Personally, I thought the cucumber was overkill .. that much cucumber would overpower the natural flavor of the salmon, had it been cooked properly (to my preference/ request that is).
I ordered a side of their fresh pasta ($1 additional) because I prefer fresh if available, and two meatballs ($1.75 each) with their own marinara sauce. The pasta tasted fresh (good), the
Meatballs were decent (not Wow, but good), the sauce was much on the sweet side, so definitely did not prefer that. So for a total of $21+$1+$1.75+$1.75=$25.50, they discounted $15, leaving my small side pasta dish at $10.50. I could've argued that is a bit much for a side pasta dish, but I didn't because I ate it and my waitress, Lori, was so very pleasant!
To finish, I ordered another cup of soup to take with me, which I thoroughly enjoyed later in the evening!
So, nice atmosphere, wonderful friendly waitress, appealing and diverse menu. I'd say, Try Some, but skip the salmon if you like a moist fish.
We stopped in for lunch and the Italian wedding soup was delicious. Good service, great atmosphere.
Best food in the area, friendly service, great atmosphere! Excellent wine list!
Very polite and prompt service! Great tasting food!! Don't forget the homemade desserts!!!!
This is a wonderful date night spot. We had Brandy as our server as well as Rob came over to greet us. This is most definitely the most upscale experience in the region! They let us know that the menu rotated everyday, which we love because it means your getting the freshest ingredients each time you visit! The baked Brie with honey and figs was AMAZING! My husband had the Delmonico steak - he said it was delicious. I had the goat cheese & apple salad with their homemade strawberry sweet & sour dressing - yum!!! Their bread was fantastic too. Also seems to be the only place in the region that you can get a proper (fresh ingredient) cocktail. We visit both Brookville and DuBois every month on business, and now we know a special place to go for a wonderful dining experience. The venue has an upscale, yet laid back vibe. It’s really warm too, which is important to us because we’re from Florida! It is also a nice change of fresh focused cuisine that is hard to come by in the area in the winter time. Thank you to the entire establishment for fitting us in on short notice! We had a wonderful time and will be back in the future!
