I got married on August 5th on Sand Key Beach and had our reception dinner at Rustys. Our experience with Rustys was amazing from the start. Giana was very quick to respond to all of my emails in the planning process and did an amazing job setting up the tables and decorations. We had our own personal waiters that stood by our table the whole time, and even took some amazing pictures of my husband and I! Last but certainly not least, the food was delicious! We had the prime rib and seafood buffet and I had multiple guests say it was the best wedding food they ever had! We went back the next morning for the breakfast buffet which was equally delicious. I couldn't recommend Rustys and the Sheraton at Sand Key enough. We will definitely be back! THANK YOU Rustys for contributing to my perfect wedding day!
Ive had dinner several times here I brought my daughter and her grandma on one occasion I brought my son for his birthday I have to come with my husband I love it the atmosphere I would like a little bit different on the buffet and a little bit better choices on the menu all all in all it is still a great place I love the piano player when they have it awesome dining!
Enjoyed a wonderful birthday Prime rib buffet last night with my 3 kids. Food was great! Waiter and entire staff was amazing! Pianist played happy birthday for me as my kids sang. Great food awesome environment when visiting here will definitely come again! Thank you!!!
It was very nice. Any time with my boys is a blessing. The waiter was excellent and food was good, but it is pricey.
Exceptional food. Both the menu fare and the buffet are outstanding!
I have two dinners at Rusty`s this week.
I brought my daughter and 2 yrs old grandson. we enjoy it so much.the food is fresh and awesome.the price is reasonable. i recommend it.
We went to Rusty’s for our 12th anniversary dinner last night. I had mentioned before, we got married at the Sheraton on 04/29/06. Every year we return for the sunset and drinks. Last night was our first dinner experience at Rusty’s.
Everything was absolutely perfect. We were greeted by a charming young lady who knew it was our anniversary and said “happy anniversary”
Our server, Martin was very nice and professional and had a great smile. He also knew it was our anniversary and wished us a happy anniversary. He was extremely attentive to our needs and very sweet.
We both ordered from the Prime rib buffet. Everything was delicious.
Martin gave us a creme brûlée, which was so phenomenal. It melted in our mouths.
We don’t get down to Clearwater Beach, but once a year, on our anniversary, but We will definitely be returning for our anniversary dinner next year.
Thank you Rusty’s for such a great evening!

Rusty Bistro was definitely 5 stars. Class act. We had breakfast there and dinner. The dinner was amazing, the prime rib was outstanding. The service was just as fantastic.
The most amazing restaurant in the world!!! Fantastic food, wine and atmosphere
We enjoyed an absolutely amazing dinner last night. The crab cakes, the calamari steak, the filet mignon -- blew us away. Our waiter couldn't have provided better service. Kudos!
I have had breakfast here several times. Consistently good, both from the menu and the buffet. Good service. Always packed with patrons.
All Good, Nothing Exciting
Usually I’m dubious about hotel restaurants. But we’ve heard good things about Rusty’s for many years now. So we finally decided to try it out. We took another couple with us.
The setting is a rather large, austere space and feels a bit stiffly formal—exactly what I figured a hotel restaurant would be like. The servers, however, were all welcoming and friendly and that softened the tone.
Two of us had the lobster which the waiter recommended. I’m not sure what you can do to a boiled lobster, and it was fine. The other two tried the buffet. Everything was quite good and better than typical buffets.
Nothing, however, was very interesting or stood out. Maybe if we had something different on the menu then we would have gotten a better indication of the chef’s talents. As it was, I would definitely go to Rusty’s if I was a staying at the hotel. But I doubt I would go there otherwise. There are too many other places around with interesting atmospheres and more exciting menu items.
The prime rib is fantastic. The au jus a perfect reduction with a velvety texture. Great mashed potatoes. Short selection but never short on pleasure. I'm looking forward to eating here again.
Great service. Even better food!! Scampi pasta & calamari are excellent!
Recommend the Seafood Buffet. We had the seafood buffet which they offer only on Saturday nights. The seafood dishes include shrimp cocktail, boiled snow crab, fish saute, seafood pilaf. You can have fruits and salads, pasta, meat dishes as well, and they were as good as the seafoods. Having all this just for $23.95, I think, is quite reasonable.
Some people take it as a downside that they don't have a water view, but I liked the atmosphere very much. If you are staying at Clearwater, you can enjoy the beautiful view any time almost everywhere. It's not a bad idea enjoying jazz music instead during your dinner time.
I must add that the staffs were admirably kind.
Great Breakfast Buffet. The price is actually very fair considering it is a hotel. The food and service are both wonderful!
Wonderful dinner, but no view. Dinner was fabulous, as was the service. But, I was expecting a beach front hotel to have their 4 star restaurant in a room overlooking the beach. Not the case...it is located on the main floor with no windows. So that was disappointing. But I will say again, the food and service were excellent.
Good Breakfast. The Breakfast buffet is pretty good but of course overpriced because it is in a hotel. Everything was good and tasty the only complaint I had was the biscuits were hard as a rock. The service was good and friendly.
Thanksgiving at Rusty's Bistro in Clearwater received 4 out of 5 stars from our group. The only complaint was about the too salty grouper from one person and the odd music selection from the keyboardist, who played a series of The Beatles' saddest songs.
