Love it! Been here several times and it's always been great. Huge selection of wines, fantastic appetizers. Sit at the high top table in the back.... Quieter there especially on the nights with live music. Service is better too.
Great Find!. We were looking for a casual place to try on CWB. Read the review and decided to try. Cute, tucked away and relaxing. We sat on the covered patio, and with the greenery and shades, you would not know you are facing a parking lot. Our server, Todd was very friendly. The wine list is crazy big, and there is good variety on the menu. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. One of us had the steak salad, which was loaded with tender steak and big tomatoes. I had the grouper sandwich, which was probably the best that I have had since moving here 14 years ago. I ordered a side of fries, which were very good, but probably a little high at $4. We didn't leave room for dessert, but will return very soon to try those, as well as some of the other delicious sounding items in the menu. So glad we tried this cute spot!
Went here with my two teenage girls and had a delightful meal. Two of us had the grouper special, delicious. My wife had a. Big burger and enjoyed it and my other daughter enjoyed a pizza. Atmosphere is very nice smaller lace with much of the seating outside in a covered patio but very secluded and great ambiance. We were seated right away had great service and food arrived quickly. Prices are reasonable. Nice place off the strip all the locals recommended it and I can see why.
This is the best kept secret on Clearwater Beach! Great A La Carte menu, superb wines and great staff. Great for date night! Walk on the beach right after......
Excellent. The food here was AMAZING, we ordered the shrimp appetizer, the sauce was so good. I had the salmon entree, and it was the best tasting salmon I have ever tried (and I eat salmon a few times a week). The wine there was also superb. It was a great atmosphere and our server, Jeff, was so friendly and helpful. I would definetly recommend this place to anyone in Clearwater looking for a nice dinner.
Best of the Beach. The outer appearance is quite deceiving. Upon entering this wonderful restaurant, you will notice a selection of wines, high top tables, seating area, large covered outdoor seating and another section of booths. Please be sure to view THE entire wine menu and in the back is a fully stocked, temperature controlled wine storage area, probably the best in Pinellas County.
The food is reasonably priced, the drinks are good. I had the steak salad, (they ask you how you would like your filet prepared for the salad) - fresh crisp romaine, wonderful sauce with fresh tomatoes. I then had to have the all time favorite , the Sherry Shrimp, named after the owner, in a delicate sauce with huge shrimp, delicately prepared to perfection.
Then, ordering the main course, the house pork chop. WOW, totally delicious, succulent and large. Desert, not this time, but I will be back for an encore.
LOVE IT!!!!. This is one of my all time favorite restaurants in all of Clearwater beach, but not due to its amazing food...Its the service you receive from the minute you sit down. I travel to the Clearwater area once a year and not being familiar with the local restaurants I was unsure of this quaint little place as I walked in. Once I was seated on the patio and my waiter walked up I knew the reason I had to wait for the table. And let me just say the wait was SO worth it. Jeff was my waiter and I felt as if it were just him and I in that restaurant that night. He was sure to bring everything I desired, sometimes even before I asked. While I do not usually enjoy dining on my own, this time I did not feel as if I was because Jeff was so attentive and made me feel right at home. My steak was delicious, and the atmosphere is so lovely. I so enjoyed myself. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to unwind and enjoy great food and service. Be sure to ask for JEFF!!!
The best burgers. Chuck is the best server here!
Impressive. Stopped in for a bite afer visiting a couple other beach spots. Had a delicious steak, salad and potato dish...bistro potato...yum! Will return!
OMG! We've been there three times I'm the last 6 months. The first time we got jeff by chance. The second 2 times we asked for him because he goes above and beyond catering your every need. Two times we were undecided on what to get. We listened to his recommendations and we very pleased. His personality service and smile completes restaurant atmosphere and service. We highly recommend bobbys bistro and if you want to make it even better ask for jeff!
Great, great time. Jeff our waiter was wonderful and the food was very good. And the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!
Shut up everyone!. The tourons will find this place! Seriously can't we keep one place to ourselves? Love the jumbo shrimp! Service depends on who you get. Excellent selection of wines.
Best Restaurant on Clearwater Beach. Contrary to the previous reviews, we had great service and the food was delicious. A very under rated restaurant; HUGE wine selection, courteous staff, and great daily specials, all for a reasonable price (especially when you compare it to the Beachcomber). Definitely need to make a reservation as it does get crowded, but you won't be disappointed when you go!
One of my faves. Frequent this establishment~ service is sometimes hit or miss, but never bad, rude or unacceptable. The best (individual)shrimp cocktail ever!! If you order meat (filet) ask for sauce on side. Salds, pizza, escargot, burger all wonderful. Chuck is the best~ but then again, I'm a regular so can't speak otherwise. Oh! Bread is fantastic!
FAB-u-licious!!!. My husband and I were vacationing at Clearwater Beach, and while dining at another local restaurant, the bartender recommended Bobby's Bistro. He intrigued us with his mouth watering description of the "Bistro Potato." The next evening we were there. Our entire dining experience at Bobby's was amazing. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. He made us feel like we were "regulars." He took the time to review the menu and made recommendations based on our tastes. He was very honest about the portion size. The menu offers tremendous variety. Even the pickiest of eaters, of which I am one, can find a dish to enjoy. Both my husband and I chose the pork chop and of course the "Bistro Potato." Both were AMAZING. The very thick pork chop, which is served with a fantastic mustard sauce, was tender, juicy and flavorful. The "Bistro Potato" is quite frankly an experience. If you don't try this, you are truly missing out. To call this a side dish is an injustice. Just like the menu, Bobby's offers an extensive wine list. There is something to satisfy every taste and budget. Based on our waiter's recommendation, we enjoyed a delicious Riesling. Anyone traveling to Clearwater Beach must treat themselves to an evening at Bobby's Bistro!!

Napa Meets Gulf Coast. You will not be disappointed with the food, atmosphere or service at this charming little backdoor bistro. The owners, son and daugher-in-law of the Heilman's (owners of the neighboring Beachcomber) traveled the California wine country and wanted to bring that casual elegance to the beach. They achieved a unique spot where you actually get what you pay for. Enjoy the steaks, they are perfectly cooked. I love the lamb chops too. This is no tourist trap, so enjoy!
Yum!. I took my Dad to Bobby's Bistro for Father's Day and he can't stop raving about his dinner. He himself likes to cook and is very surprised when a restaurant can outdo his cooking. The 3 of us each had the fillet mignon and it has to be one of the best we have ever had. Not only was the dinner delicious- the drinks were great and we love that we can sit outside. We always appreciate a wonderful dining experience & atmosphere and this place helped make our night.
Well Worth It. Bobby's is another hidden gem in Clearwater Beach. It stands up against any other restaurant in the area due to its well-above-average kitchen, friendly and (usually) professional staff, and moderate prices. Their seafood is usually excellent, my steaks have never disappointed and the menu generally has a nice modern American feel. The quiet, intimate ambience is a welcome departure from most of the more boisterous places along the beach, but it's still quite casual. And, since it's essentially tethered to back of the Beachcomber, they have a great wine and spirits selection.
This stylish little offshoot of its "Mecca-for-Q-Tips" grandpappy, Bob Heilman's Beachcomber (which was much beloved by one of my favorite former fathers-in-law, God rest his soul), is an urban oasis in the culinary desert that is Clearwater Beach. Unlike Frenchy's, Crabby's, Palm Pavillion, et al...you will not see many T-shirt-encased beer bellies and ball caps at this venue. Highly civilized, the crowd at Bobby's looks more like a Mitt Romney family reunion than a tourist destination. That said, they welcomed this redneck gurl without even the slightest disparaging glance. I must clean up better than I thought. We were seated in outdoors in a gorgeous garden setting and got wonderful service from Don, who charmingly and seamlessly navigated us through the menu. Hot, crispy bread accompanied by herbaceous and cheesy olive oil arrived in short order. Bread pics have been done to death and I have lots to talk about, so we'll move right along to the apps.
