Service started out a little mediocre. We found out it was his 1st day working on his own and by the end of our service, he was doing great. There was a gentleman that came and sat at the bar near us and smelled like he poured a bottle of cologne on. The hostess gladly moved us to another table. The food was delicious! Had the brushetta to start and center cut sirloin and delmonico. They were cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful!
Very nice atmosphere and service. I recommend making a reservation as it may be a bit crowded. The food was delicious and the drinks were well crafted and strong. We went for our anniversary dinner and everything was lovely. They surprised us with a free dessert (cheesecake slice)
The meal portions are larger than anticipated for a standard gourmet restaurant, which was a pleasant surprise as well. The food was flavorful and seasoned. The lobster mashed potatoes were a hit for us! We ordered the salmon and the walleye which did not disappoint. Bread served before the entre was largely sliced but delicious with a sweet butter.
I'm planning to go again for happy hour which looked like a nice end to a long workday.
Ordered steak and lobster, the lobster was really good, I ordered my filet mignon medium, it came out medium well, we were on a tight schedule and I did not have time to return steak, so I ate it. Our server Caroline was friendly, I was hoping to have a watermelon martini but they did not have liquor available to make. No suggestions were made from server of a comparable drink.
My boyfriend and I had a date night last night and we both shared the mouth watering Jumbo Crab Cake for an appetizer and Lobster Tails paired with Filet Mignot. Everything was well seasoned, cooked perfectly and for the price, it was definitely worth it! Hats off to the chefs and all who served us. Ty for being a part of our special evening. 💓
My first time here was December of 2022 for a friends birthday. I had the C.A.B Delmonico. It was hands down the most delicious steak I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration. I’ve been dreaming about this steak for 7 months since then 😂 I will be back this week to celebrate my birthday and will be ordering this exact steak and I am so excited! Lol. Also the lemon drop martini was delicious. They definitely are not stingy with the alcohol! So good!!
Went to Don's for Easter brunch as it was the first date location of my friend's parents many decades ago. The parents arrived on time, my friend and I were about 30 minutes late but they seated our group immediately the staff was very nice and never made us feel bad for being late.
The food was outstanding. The waitress was on top of a new soda before I had to ask for a refill, everyone was very happy with the full experience. One of the best spots I've been to in Cleveland so far.
5 stars! So surprised that I haven’t been here before! Everything was amazing from the drinks, to the service to the food!
Danny was a good server, a little rough around the technical edges but overall a great person.
Food was top notch! I could eat all day here, no problem. Everything we ordered from drinks to apps to entrées came out in good time and presentation, and most of all it was extremely pleasing to eat.
Cool building, right on the corner of Lake and Clifton. Steps away from edgewater Park and the beautiful skyline of Cleveland.
A friend took me to Don’s Lighthouse the other day, for a relaxing evening to catch up on life and things. This was my first visit and will definitely not be my last. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, a great Bar space for ‘hanging out’. Between the scallop/mussel plate and my own fresh fish dinner, plus two finger drinks (measured vertically, not horizontally), this evening is well worth repeating. I can only highly recommend the good food and friendly service.
Excellent service provided by our server Mary. Absolutely outstanding Don's Chowder, crab cakes, scallops and chocolate mousse and creme brulee desserts.
