Great place on my list of places to try. Small inside, but we were able to get a table in the party room. Everything tasted super fresh and the staff was really kind. Mother’s Little Helper drink was good but too much filler for me, so I switched to wine. We got the Mediterranean board, which was delicious. We grabbed some of the feta from the deli on the way out. I got the octopus salad that was cooked to perfection accompanied with wonderful goat cheese. Will definitely be back!

Great food. Small and big plates and wide variety of appetizers. Lots of Mediterranean options. There is a grocery store in the restaurant that you can shop for cheese, meats and wines. Highly recommend.

This place feels like it is in a bigger city when you sit inside of it. Very clean and modern looking with cheese and meats in the display case for purchase as well as a wall of wines and things. I am not the biggest fan of octopus but I tried it here and loved it! The nice grilled flavor and presentation made it an experience. There is a cheese I don’t remember the name of that comes on a plate toasted and melty. Get that. Whatever it is lol. The meatballs had a good texture but where surprisingly lacking character. After enjoying the other food I was slightly disappointed in the meatballs but I tend to like a more bold flavor. The portopolpita (guarantee it’s spelled wrong hahaha) is so good! It’s a cake with a subtle orange flavor covered in syrup. Delicious!

Such a nice restaurant. All the food was delicious. The octopus with arugula salad was soo good, definitely going back to have it again and try more of the dishes. Also had the ratatouille with polenta and meatballs. The portokalopita for dessert was excellent! They also have a store inside to buy various cheeses, wines, olives and deli meats.

My recent dining experience at Astoria Cafe was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in the heart of a bustling city, this Mediterranean gem offers a menu that's truly a culinary adventure. The first course set the tone for the evening as we indulged in a magnificent cheese board. The selection of cheeses was truly remarkable, showcasing a range of flavors and textures that delighted the palate. It was a fantastic way to start the meal, and it left us excited for what was to come. For the main course, I decided to try the Ratatouille, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The dish was a culinary masterpiece, with rich and complex flavors that danced on the taste buds. The texture was perfect, and it was incredibly filling, making it a hearty and satisfying option. It was a pleasant surprise to see how Astoria Cafe caters to vegetarians and vegans with such a variety of delectable dishes on the menu. It's evident that they put a lot of thought into creating options that cater to different dietary preferences. As if the exceptional food wasn't enough, Astoria Cafe offers more to enhance the overall experience. The on-site market is a treasure trove of products and drinks, perfect for taking a piece of the experience home or as thoughtful gifts. This added dimension makes the visit even more memorable. While the food, atmosphere, and service were top-notch, it's worth noting that Astoria Cafe leans toward the pricier side. However, the quality of the dining experience and the remarkable food justifies the cost. The ambiance was wonderful, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience. In conclusion, Astoria Cafe is a Mediterranean haven for food enthusiasts. From the exquisite cheese board to the delightful Ratatouille and the extensive vegetarian and vegan options, this restaurant offers a memorable culinary journey. Although it may be a bit on the expensive side, the exceptional food, inviting atmosphere, and attentive service make it well worth the visit. Whether you're looking for a special night out or simply want to savor the flavors of the Mediterranean, Astoria Cafe is a must-visit.

Great market+restaurant combination for dinner. My sister-in-law came here on a busy Saturday evening for dinner. Would definitely recommend a reservation since the place was packed and had a long wait line. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable about the food+drink menus. We shared a bottle of wine and a large charcuterie board, both were delicious. Service was a bit slow (waiting about 40min for wine to come) since they were so busy, and our server disappeared near the end of our meal so we had to wait almost 30min for our check. Despite the wait, I would come back here for a meal!

This is the local place to support. Market and restaurant. Food prepared properly, flavor on point. You cannot leave without getting the Portokolopita for dessert, so good I'm taking a slice home to Florida. If it makes it to the airport!

Everything was amazing, but the octopus was perfection. I would eat that every day if I could.

Always excellent. The indoor and outdoor patio bars are both great. Love the open air patio when the weather is right. Food is always prepared and played perfectly. Phenomenal wine selections, and nice cocktail program.

We had an incredible time celebrating my birthday at Astoria! The wine recommendation was delicious, the food was incredible, service was magnificent. We especially loved being given the time and space to enjoy, relax and immerse ourselves in spending time together without being rushed in any capacity. Can’t say enough good things about the pleasure of our evening!

We took a recommendation from a friend while we were in town visiting and tried this on a weeknight. It was a fun experience. The server was probably the best we've had in a long time. The menu is creative and well-executed. Great neighborhood spot. Fun market to do a little shopping. Really friendly to my wife's dairy allergy. They seem very passionate about what they're doing.

Food was amazing! Been meaning to make it here for a while now and I'm so glad I finally made it. I was very impressed with their charcuterie boards!! By far the best boards in Cleveland!

Give this place a try for brunch. Especially if you have a group. Make a reservation ahead of time. We got the breakfast charcuterie board. It was massive for $30. There was 7-8 other “boards” to choose from as well. The entrees were exceptional. The cocktails were very thoughtful as well.

Vegan charcuterie board was fire 🔥 Only request is a more suitable vegan salami option (theirs is fig based, so it's more like dried fruit than plant based salami) and other plant based menu options overall (there's one other, I beleive). Other than that, I loved it! So nice to have options in Cleveland!

Restaurant was VERY clean. Nice open bar/kitchen concept. We were here for a birthday lunch. We ordered cocktails ...which avg price was $15 ($$$$) Salads & sandwich items also were $15. The portions were on the smaller side as was gyro. We had 1 dessert. So for 3 of us, 3 cocktails, 1 appetizer, 2 salads, 1 gyro& 1 dessert came to $150 including tax & 20% tip. The food was good, but no better than other popular Mediterranean places. I felt it was very pricey especially just being lunch.
