THE place for breakfast or brunch in Cleveland. You must try the lemon ricotta pancakes. If you're looking for a little kick, get the Irish coffee.

My husband and I went this past weekend on a recommendation from friends. It did not disappoint. We were seated within minutes of walking in despite it being very crowded and our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The lemon ricotta pancake was delicious.

Always busy which is typical for a good restaurant. The food and service is always on point and has been for more than 20 years. It's a staple in our family and in our neighborhood we are all lucky to have a restaurant like this in our neighborhood to share with generations of family. Lots of great memories here, hopefully many more to come.

Im from Pittsburgh, the city of Rings, and I don't know what everyone is complaining about. We have like 2 diners and the lines are always long. I end up not being able to eat there! The inn on Coventry was delicious. I had a egg scramble with veggies, sausage and spinach. The waitress was loud and crass(just like me) and a customer around the corner yelled and the cooks yelled "Ahhh shut up!!!!!!" I felt right at home!

I decided to write this review after our mayor Cheryl Stephens made a disparaging Facebook post about this wonderful local restaurant. The food is great, the staff is friendly, the coffee flows freely, and the place is always busy on the weekend. Any Cleveland Heights resident who has been here on the weekend knows it. It's busy and there are people willing to line up outside for it, so for the mayor to complain about being asked to pay and leave so someone else (her constituents!!!) can sit down and get out of the cold is totally out of line, and not a reflection on what the Inn brings to our neighborhood.

Even though it was very crowded we waited less than 10 minutes to be seated. Food took a little longer since they no longer have Chef Sonny but everything came out great and it was delicious! It was the first time I tried their steak and eggs.

This is not only the cutest little restaurant but it’s run like a fine oiled machine. The service was amazing our waitress was so polite and helpful. The food was so good seasoned perfectly, great portions and it was served quickly!! We aren’t from the Cleveland area but will come back just for this little restaurant!!

Despite being busy, we were seated quickly and our server was quick with the menu, attentive to details. The menu offers typical diner fare and most items are reasonably priced. Food was prepared quickly as the kitchen was closing, portions are not too big and that's a good thing.

The Inn on Coventry was a nice breakfast spot. The mere fact that ot was open on a Monday is a huge plus. The breakfast was served hot, and the food was fresh. The staff kept the coffee cups full. Even though the food took some time to come out, it was explained up front that everything was cooked to order. I would highly recommend the Inn for breakfast.

Well we definitely did not done in the main dining room so maybe the front is better. Rather, we were at two small tables tucked in the back. Between the noises of the kitchen, the hustling and bustling of the wait staff behind us and the bizarre , decorations, including a painting, that waiters knocked into almost every time they passed, and the charming institutional incarceration gray walls, not best atmosphere. We had mixed reviews of peoples breakfast in my group, but mine was quite tasty, and our waiter was lovely. I think it must be nicer if you aren’t seated in the prison section. Try the Kentucky scramble.

Had a delicious veggie omelet here — I subbed feta for the American cheese. Yum! Will definitely go back. Frequent coffee refills. My only complaint was the wobbly table (by the window, on the right). Fix the wobble, otherwise it was pretty perfect!

We love the food. Everything on the menu is good. Favs include pancakes, turkey benny, and gyro omelette. It's always crowded. Pre-pandemic they were able to handle that, but lately they're slower with less attentive service. Still friendly and helpful. I've had to wait over an hour after estimated pick up for take out and nearly 45 minutes for dine in. They likely are having staffing issues. It used to be you'd wait for a table and then service was fast.

Came here a couple days ago with a friend of mine after working night shift, and I definitely don't regret it! I got the Irish Benedict and lemon ricotta pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious! As far as ambiance and environment, the restaurant did feel a bit cramped, but it certainly wasn't a huge deal. I would definitely come back to try their other flavors of pancakes!

As close to a diner as you can find in Cleveland heights. This is a small but friendly place with a diner menu and fair prices. Food is tasty and cooked to order. My blt was not quite as I like... I ordered on while grain toast but got white untoasted. Did not send it back. Would try again.

Went to the Inn this morning for breakfast and was not disappointed. Very friendly staff, great food, and fast service. They gave the kids crayons and a coloring sheet when we sat down! The crab cake Benedict and omelet was amazing. The kids really enjoyed their chocolate chip pancake. We will for sure be coming back.

Go early to enjoy some pretty amazing breakfast. They have a lot to offer on the menu. I've had things from the basics, but my favorite is the Lox Eggs Benedict.
