Saffron Patch was very good and satisfying. This is my second review of this restaurant that first one was taken down somehow. The server was great, and the food and customer service even better than before
We tried the Saffron Patch for the first time today for lunch and we were blown away!!!! Authentic Indian food that is the best we’ve ever had!!!! It was absolutely delicious! They let you choose your desired spiciness on a scale from 1-5 and they really nailed it. The restaurant also has a very cool vibe to it. I’m so excited I found this place and can’t wait to go back!
If you’re thinking about going here, DO IT!!! You won’t regret it!!
A typical Americanized Indian restaurant serving all of the usual standards. The food was good (though the portions were not the largest), the wait staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was lightning fast. Takeout orders were flying out of the door - the kitchen must be used to working overtime.
Beautiful ambience, delicious food, and authentic taste! Loved the courteous staff. They gave us a complimentary Dessert and overall the experience was amazing. Good number of seatings and conveniently located for people around case to just get here. Must say - its a must try!
We moved to Shaker Heights from Florida and love Indian food. We decided to try the Saffron Patch on Chagin as it was so convenient. It didn’t disappoint! I love Korma, but didn’t want lamb, so they added chicken instead. I also like the Mango Chicken as well. We have not tried all the menu items yet, but the food is good, the restaurant is quiet. Come out and give them a try! They will work to make you happy ❤️
The best Indian restaurant in the Greater Cleveland region. Located in Shaker Heights off Chagrin Blvd/Warrensville. Ample free parking in the back parking lot and a convenient 5-minute (2 block) walk from Warrensville RTA station on the blue line. I come here regularly for Indian food. Great selections of vegetarian and Tandoori fare. The curries are fabulous. The pooris are to die for - perfectly fried and fluffy. Highly recommended if you are in the Cleveland area!
Initially I ordered for a pickup but when I came to pick up my order, the vibe caught a hold of me and ended up dining at the place. The food was wonderful, the staff was epic and very hostile, they gave hot warm food, my taste buds were having a great time and I hope yours do too... Check em out, worth a dine, every time 😃🎊🤩!!
The server was kind and knew the menu well. The service was quick, food was done quickly and served beautifully. The food was so aromatic and flavorful. Everything was just perfect. We will be back again!
Top quality Indian quizine! The only problem was that we both wanted more for the slightly higher than normal price tag. We enjoyed ourselves and they gave 😀 us a complimentary rice dessert that was very out of this world. Garlic nan was way better than any other I've ever tried. First time here and we will be back.
This is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. Very good food with generous portions. Definitely consistently good!!
Wonderful and tasty food. I am vegetarian and ordered Vegetable Biryani - Mild. Would recommend this for Americans who are still new to the taste of Indian food. This is the second time I drove 2hrs for this Biryani. Lol. Sounds crazy but true. It would be really nice if they add "Double Ka Mita" into their Desert Menu. I have travelled to many states within US, have tasted so many different versions of Veggie Biryani. Your version is one of the few that stands out! Other than food, ambiance is good. Clean and nice place. I noticed the Nataraja figurine in the lobby seems sad and broken. I hope you change it to a nice one. There are so many wonderful nataraja figurines/show pieces available on etsy :)
The restaurant is modernly decorated with a nice vibe just small. Parking in the back can be difficult due to no availability. The food is amazing and consistent. My favorite dish is the maharaja biryani, it's full of flavor and nice portion size and they aren't stingy with the meat. I just wish they would use a mesh spice bag for the whole spices that they use bc biting into a whole clove or piece of cinnamon stick isn't very pleasant. Also, the prices online need to be updated but aren't too off. I'll still continue to order from there.
It’s inside a office building in the Lower Level so as you enter you have to go down the stairs and it’s on your right. Very high class designed restaurant . Staff is great they have amazing service and the food yes it’s good authentic Indian food though my tandoori chicken wasn’t properly marinated in enough spices but everything else was great. Not a fan of their mint chutney either. They also have imported beers from India. It is abit pricey and they do charge gratuity with out asking.
