Best place to go before a Tribe game! Will it ever open back up? Going to an Indians game won't be the same without this place beforehand.

Great food great prices. Went before Indians game on Fathers day. Many beers to choose from and again great prices. Don't know the story behind this bar but the servers are just old guys like me serving up drinks, beer and food. Will definitely be back. 5 minute walk to Progressive Field or The Q.

If you're going to a game and have some time it's an awesome place to hang out. Great drink specials. The food is really good with daily specials. They often offer live music. They do get very busy before games but do w great job keeping up. Good ribs.

Good food, great service! My family of 4 including my 8 and 10 year old girls stumbled on this place accidentally. While we were the only party in the place when they had just opened, I can't say that it would be a great family place at peak times (it's more of a live band bar later at night). The staff was super attentive, timely and even put a kids show on one of the TV's for my girls. Great people. Try the ribs... Good stuff!

I was here last night 12/16/2016. It closed at 12am and not 2am on a Friday night. Kinda odd. It's a whole in the wall type of place. I won't lie, I have the BBQ burger and it was top quality!! My wife had the wings and she said she enjoyed them. The fries could have been a bit better. I will give them a 4 out of 5 on food. The place itself needs some updates. They allow local talent to perform but their stage is a bit tiny with a lot of damaged equipment they should just throw away! I came here to support OSNS group. I would come back all in all. Good beer selection on tap.

Very friendly staff and the music was great! I wished the band played a little longer since we enjoyed it so much! Love the mixed greens, salads and fresh cut fries and chips!! Would be nice if they could update this building for your business to catch up to all the new construction going on downtown!

Found Wilbert's quite a few years ago and have been going there ever since. Really friendly wait staff, top notch music (usually NO COVER!), great food and very reasonable drink prices. Even on the weekends when Cleveland sport teams are playing. Try the best salsa ever! You won't be disappointed... HIGHLY Recommend

Went here for a benefit for the Western Reserve Hospice. The food was out of this world. I had their famous pulled pork sandwich! When I say it was awesome, and nothing like it. That is the truth. Our friend Jim Schaefer and his band played this event and it was a very enjoyable evening. The music was awesome by Jim and his band.

A couple of us happened to catch Grant Farm there last night. They were great as was the venue. Mike the owner is a fun guy who enjoys interacting with his customers. It's incredible the big names that have performed there. The JAFB IPA was also outstanding.

We always stop at Wilbert's before every Indians game we attend. It's a must in our opinion. We ordered drinks, my wife a beer and myself a vodka 7 up. After the first few sips, I noticed the drink was very watered down...not the fault of the barkeep but probably my own. You see, it was very crowded and beer specials were flowing. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. Anyway, I politely ask the waitress to bring me a beer instead and explained briefly that the drink was not very tasty. She mentioned "no problem" and went on her way to fetch me a brew. Within minutes the owner' Michael, shows up with a new ice cold drink and my brew. He apologized for the mistake and wanted to make sure I got a drink like he would like. How awesome is that! Keep in mind that it was packed in there as well. After our brief conversation, I could not help but notice how all servers, wait staff, and all other employees were unselfishly pitching in to work with one another. This was a clear reflection if Michael's hospitality and his love for the business. Oh, and by the way, the food is always awesome here. and you see, we both have a similar interest and love for BBQ. Some of the best BBQ you can get downtown is here at Wilbert's.

Me and a few friends arrived early for Garth Brooks and a very nice police officer suggested we go check out the bar scene. Well we ended up wandering the corridors of a building until we found Wilberts. We had to wait a bit for a table (everyone else for Garth Brooks was also wandering around bars) but we didn't mind. We just stood at the bar and had a couple drinks. We shared a booth with some people also looking for a seat and all ordered food. The chicken strips with their homemade honey mustard were phenomenal and the portion was so big I shared it with a friend. The band was amazing as well. Interacted with the crowd and even invited some people on stage for a dancing contest. All in all I can't wait to go back. :)

This is the place to go prior to Cleveland Indians and/or Cavs games. Best pre-game happy hours around. $2 tall cans of domestics. Food is pretty good too, but nothing to write home about. The atmosphere is definitely divey, but they aren't pretending to be anything else. I love meeting friends here prior to Tribe games, as it's cheap and directly across from the field. I always have a good time, although it can get REALLY cramped before games. They staff well to prevent lines from backing up too far. Bring cash and get your beer from the ladies working the cooler bins directly inside the patio door.
