Great place to grab a quick bite. The made-fresh quality and friendly service makes this restaurant stand out from the other options nearby. Love that they got new extra sides too! Not that I don’t love the waffle fries, I just also love having extra options!

Why'd I wait so long! Welcoming service and the crave is coming back a week later! Cant beat the sicilian parmesan steak, except maybe with a Romanburger, or a Hot buttered cheesesteak, or a Chicken Philly..!
Very clean. Efficient & Professional staff. My sandwich was very tasty, and I would frequent this location again. Parking lot was clean. No one seemed to be just hanging around. I felt relatively safe. But I always keep my head on the swivel and "Regina" is close by 😉.

Employees here are awesome. Always willing to accommodate our crazy requests. They make the food quick & they have never messed up an order. Very satisfied and will return when I just don't feel like making dinner.

One of the perks of traveling to visit new places is to explore foods in the area. I have this quirk that I always try to find food chains not available in the Seattle area. Mr. Hero was one of these places that serves Cleveland.
Why Mr. Hero? The chain serves cheesesteaks and gyros sandwiches, something I am not able to find easily in my area. This location was the closest to my Airbnb and had some specials that I wanted to exploit. Location was in a smallish strip mall area, and it was pretty clean overall. Time of visit was around mid afternoon after a morning visit to the Great Lakes Science Center in the morning on a Sunday. The staff there were pretty efficient.
Two sandwiches were ordered for takeout. The first was a Gyro sandwich, and the other was the Sicilian Parmesan Cheesesteak. I ate the cheesesteak right after I returned to the Airbnb, and it was good even when it was cold. One slight downside was the lack of vegetables (only mushrooms), but the meats in the sandwich (Steak, grilled sausage & pepperoni) made it such a unique and tasty sandwich that I can still taste it one week later. I wanted to return the next day to get extras to bring back to Seattle areas but unfortunately that did not work out. The Gyro sandwich was unfortunately disappointing. I should have ordered the chain's famous Romanburger instead. Well, there will be a future opportunity to try that out.
Overall, that Sicilian Parmesan Cheesesteak deserves a tryout for anyone interested in a good hearty sandwich. Highly rated.

I don’t eat much Fast Food. But I love my Roman Burgers. I have been served by this exceptional person in the past. But after yesterday I have to leave a review. You don’t get good Customer Service like this. He’s tall and handsome and should probably be in a suit. However he’s the best customer service I’ve had anywhere. What he does for a living cannot be compared to anything because you can tell he’s on it. I went across the street for a shake after ordering my food. When I came back this nice gentleman was waiting. I didn’t get in the door hood and he handed me my sandwich. I just wanted to give kudos to this restaurant I’ve always received good service here. And please keep up the good work. Yah’s blessings to you all.

This Mr. Hero is fantastic! They remembered me! They always have great food, always great service! The place is clean and the staff is great! Like I said, they remembered me! I recommend this location to anyone in the area who wants a quick and delicious sandwich! Always worth it!
I so love Mr. Hero. There food has always been so good. It's cooked fresh when you order. You can choose what you want on it. There is so many sandwiches to choose from and the wafer fries oh so good. It's one of our favorite places to eat. Try it I know you will love there food to.
Probably been here 5-6 times over the last couple of months and the staff and food were awesome every time. I am a former service industry GM and these guys are quality, all around. I have dealt with Tarum(forgive me if misspelled) every time I stopped in/called in and I am always impressed with the level of service I receive.

Fast service with friendly attitudes. They even remembered my order after just a few visits. I'd like to sail a waffle fry across a fake-cheese sea. You'd have to use one of the ones with the crispy skin bit still attached, as it is already perfect sea-faring shape.
Place is extremely clean, owner cooked my Roman Burger and it was fantastic. Definitely the cleanest best service and beyond what you'd expect. Home run! This guy will be successful for a long time!
My go to when on the move in Lakewood - make sure to let em know u want ur sandwiches hot if thts preferred since they rarely ask an will make it cold on a min.
The food taste so good. I almost always order a medium roman burger with waffle fries and nacho cheese and then breaded mushrooms. I can feel this food cloaging my arteries. but the food is juust so good. This store is very clean and the workers are nice and friendly and the food is always hot and fresh.
