El Taino - Cleveland - Photo album

Best place I’ve eaten in a while.. delicious authentic Puerto Rican food and the staff is courteous and kind!! they are the best
Excellent food. Tiny family place. I had mofongo (mash plantain w garlic) with shrimp in garlic butter, $12.00. That roll is (don't recall name of it) $2.50, the outside is green bananas and plantain mashed together to make a "dough", filled with delicious shredded meat (owner said pork, waitress s
Food was good. Service was good as well. Seems like the owner is a great administrator, he even put on the table dessert for free but the attentions or service slow down as the co-owner arrived. Music went off and everyone else disappeared. Mofongo was tasty!
Great Food Typical from Puerto Rico Everything Fresh and Good Prices...
New owner/managment that's a plus, haven't been here in years they were well known for Bistec encebollao & tostones con ajillo, beefsteak with onions & fried plantains with garlic sauce. They changed owners & it went down hill. Since new management I decided to get an alcapurria which is a stuffed
Amazing food, amazing people. I got this for only $10.50! I cannot recommend this place enough!
We went in a small group. The owner is so very nice. It was very clean and welcoming. The plates were nicely portioned and at a reasonableprice. We sampled each other's plates. All the food was AMAZING!! We all tried flan for the first time and can't believe how good it was. The owner told us he was
I loved the white rice, beans, roast chicken and potato salad Chef Joe prepared for me and my son Christopher. Its was absolutely delicious! He even dressed up the dinner with an ONION DESIGN Chef Joe prepared in front of our own eyes and with grace and style. We love Chef Joe, absolutely talented a
Traveled from Columbus,OH looking for puertorrican food and this place did not disappoint!! Ordered the bistec encebollado and it was simply the best I’ve had since I moved from Puerto Rico. Service was superb, the owner was very kind and made me feel like home. I will definitely be coming back!!
So far, is the best Puerto Rican food in town. Price is great and good customer service. Is like going to "abuela's" house, the star is missing because issues with schedule. Once they fix it, I'll gladly give it.
Just went today, reminds me of the restaurants that are out in Brooklyn nyc! Walked in, the smell was amazing, staff was bubbly and welcoming. Got home after a long drive to eat and it was very delicious!Would recommend over and over again.
We love El Taino! The food is authentic, hot and ready to eat when you walk in the door! The atmosphere is not eye catching and could use a serious face-lift but I am not there to judge the interior decorations, I am only judging the food I have had. I will always go as long as the doors are open!
Fabulous food! Authentic Puerto Rican cuisine and the owner/chef is dedicated to making your experience perfect! Go and try it out. You won't be sorry!! A new mainstay for our family!!
Visited after travel from Orlando and PR, the staff is very welcoming and the food is a rich in pure Puertorican flavor. Although I only ate the appetizers, I would have desired an entree had I the appetite.
This place is absolutely AMAZING!! The staff is friendly, they make you feel welcomed and the homemade fresh to order cuisine is absolutely the BEST in what I have tasted in all of Cleveland. Located in Tremont this is a MUST place to stop. You won’t be disappointed.
The food is good and the people are nice. It's good to go soon after they open so you can get fresh food. I like that Cleveland had a diverse population as it makes for great culinary experiences.
I have used them for catering and it's always outstanding. Very generous portions, fresh, on time delivery. Great job and good luck with the new restaurant!
