WARNING!!: Extremely Tasty!! I came down here for a visit and tried places in the Cocoa Village, which were decent. This place is definitely a diamond in the rough. A must try for all locals who have not been here and tourists! Colby was our waiter and shout out to him for being awesome! We went on a Thursday night and the service and food were excellent. No complaints at ALL! The photos posted below were gator bites, grouper fingers, and shrimp tacos. Can't wait to go back!
My first time here. I was actually on my way to another restaurant. For some reason, I stop here instead π€·π½ββοΈ sat at the outside bare, only going inside for the restroom (clean, no odor). The waitress was very knowledgeable, approachable, patient, & friendly, not to mention the other guest seemed to truly like her & were familiar with her. Great customer service! I lucked up, coming at the right time, for a guy at the end of the bar, brought shots for everyone ππ€ Key lime pie ππ my 1st time tasting one. It was delicious! The guy buying had the dreamiest eyes, that almost made me fall into a trance (Vampire maybeπ I'm kidding) ππ Lol. That NEVER happens!! I loved the vibe & will go back, to visit, once I get back in town.
Update: Went back and was Wow'd again! That's VERY rare! The people are so friendly and diverse. A guy came up to me eating frog legs. Feeling that they were THE BEST, he offered me to taste. I did and WOW! I haven't had frog legs since I was young, yet I don't remember them having such a great taste to them! Thanks AGAIN for yet another great experience at your restaurant π€ππ Photo attached πππ
It seems as though Norman's has been around forever, and that's mostly because it has. Except for a very short, dark period in the 90's, Norman's has been a bright spot in Cocoa Village for many years.
In a prime location on the outskirts of the village, it can sometimes be tricky getting into the parking lot, but between the front, side and back, you'll eventually find your way in. Once you get inside, grab a table anywhere and have a seat. (And yes, if you have a big group, you can feel free to rearrange the tables to suit your party.)
The building obviously isn't new, but it's been fairly well-maintained. The interior can best be described as being comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and of a decent size, so there are no lineups. Cool.
Unpretentious in the extreme, Norman's can be a T-shirt and flip flops kind of place, or a good date night destination.
The menu at Norman's is fairly standard bar food but it's generally prepared quickly and efficiently. I'm a fan of their wings and Buffalo shrimp but they also do great sandwiches and I hear the seafood is good too.
The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable and on weekend nights, there's live music outside on the deck. Stop by for a visit. You'll be happy you did.
Great dinner and friendly service! Really good chowder, grouper sandwich and fish tacos! Cannot beat the pitchers of Bud Light at happy hour either!
Fish Tacos (Blackened) with Sweet Potato fries are great. Waitress was great as well.
Love the food especially their oysters and the mac&cheese, never disappoint!!
Casual dining with a local atmosphere. The oysters were amazing. Worth going back just for the grouper special.
Great food , great atmosphere, this is where the locals go. Very friendly family environment with an amazing service. All the regulars there literally come there daily because itβs that amazing. You wonβt be sorry. Dog friendly outside, (literally give you a bowl of water for the pups), you wonβt be sorry. Ask for the fresh oysters, literally the best in Brevard.
Excellent service, fast and friendly, fantastic food we had grouper fingers, calamari and shrimp tacos. Our sides were the home made potato chips and the coleslaw was the best we've ever had, even got an extra serving to bring home. Also very reasonably priced. We highly recommend.
My parents and I came into the place at about 5:50PM on a Friday night. Usually places are busy, but this place wasnβt all that busy for a Friday. We ordered 3 margaritas. Took about 15 minutes to get back to our table, along with another 10 minutes to get water. We ordered 14 chicken wings, and a plate of Fish n Chips. Feels like a normal order, nothing special.... no one came to check on us, no one told us how much longer it would be.....It was about 6:50PM, when we decided to ask to speak to a manager (after ~40 minute wait) - who came to us 2 minutes later (6:52PM)
Spoke kindly to the manager Ryan - very kind gentleman who mentioned he would check on our order and figure out what was going on in the kitchen. At 6:56PM we received our food.
The waitress came by to check on us and I asked for a ginger ale after that, but never received it. This tells me the problem isnβt so much with the establishment, but the employee.
4 stars still for the phenomenal customer service that rectified the issue. The food ended up being worth the wait. It also helped that Ryan had some nice dimples with the smile! Hahaha! Will update this review the next time I come in :).
