This place has authentic, homemade Italian food. This place is BYOB. I had the Nu Nu's Marinara pasta and it was delicious with a ton of flavor. I thought the inside was very nice. It was kind of loud and busy. The owner walks around to the tables and greets you, which is a nice personal touch. I recommend making reservations. The only complaint is the service is VERY slow. We were there for over 2 hours. The waitress did not check in with us often. We also waited a very long time for our check. Other than that, if you have time to wait for the service, the food is great.

Great restaurant. Very good service. We had the Cod Francais, which was a special, got it with side of pasta, oil and garlic. Excellent entree, one of the most delicious dinners I've ever had. We also had the grilled calamari for an appetizer that was very good and our other entree was the pasta with clams in a white sauce. Also very good. The cod was an award winner. Bread wasn't fresh and appetizing. Italian restaurant should have better bread. There's a $4 cork fee. Looking forward to going back. The good is great.

Great food, great cozy atmosphere. BYOB and try something you've never had before like kangaroo, bison or ostrich! They have all the classic Italian favorites too, you will not be disappointed

Each and every experience at Nu Nus has been special. Typically, they have unique he dishes that are full of taste. Even the customers are nice. On my birthday, I showed up in uniform and a lady outside demanded I take $20 and get a drink or something. So enjoy a nite out and go to Nu Nus.

What a fantastic place. Definitely a gem for locals who filled this restored carraige house for their family Easter celebrations. BYOB, and call ahead for reservations. Excellently prepared traditional Italian dishes and deserts.

Nunus is fantastic... since Jack's nephew took over the place has really modernized! The food is still fantastic, the new chef does a great job of blending Jack's classics with modern techniques and delicious flavors. I really enjoyed the staff, everything was DELICIOUS... Definitely worth waiting for. Currently BYOB, I'm looking forward ty o seeing what vintages they carry once they start liquor service...

A little pricy (expect to drop 60 for 2 with tip), but really good food. The steak with gorgonzola was excellent, and you gotta love giving your biz to a small town deal like this instead of a nationwide chain.

Always a favorite in the Colchester area for Italian and just good food. Have also eaten the Sunday brunch which I rate very high. And an added bonus of BYOB.
