Had a dinner meeting with a colleague and we decided to meet at Brake Pad. I love the small town feel of the restaurant with its rustic look and inside/outside seating.
Upon being seated the waitress was at the table within moments. Image was able to provide some good insight on the menu and make some great suggestions. I decided on the Egg Rolls for an Appetizer, Sweet Tea to drink, and a Burger for my main meal.
The Sweet Tea was a true down home experience. Each sip provides a down home feel with homemade flavor. An absolute thirst quenching pleasure.
The Egg Rolls are super meaty with an abundance of flavor and provide a great eats experience. Perfectly fried, these bites are pleasing to the soul. LoL! But serious, they give you the crisp of a chip with the perfect crunch and abundance of meat! A Must Try!
The Burger was another great eat. Perfectly crafted, super meaty, a great grade of meat, and a blend of seasonings that make each bite a hidden pleasure of enjoyment.
No matter if you want a quick bite or a full meal, Brake Pad has something to offer.
Great Food.
Good Service.
Awesome Experience.
Love this spot! Went for the first time on Saturday night around 6 and there was no wait I was shocked! We received our food and drinks quickly. The BP fries were perfect, blackened shrimp goat cheese salad was delicious, and the margaritas were dangerously good, strong & TASTY!! My friend got the southwest salad and loved it!! Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Really cool, local spot in a converted gas station.
We were seated in the enclosed part of the patio. It was a bit loud due to a larger party at an adjacent table.
There was a nice selection of draft beers. Our server was friendly & attentive. And the prices were reasonable.
The brisket nachos were good: the brisket was certainly delicious; the rest of the toppings weren't much to write home about.
Brake Pad was a cool place to hang out & catch up with some friends who live a little farther south of the city.
I love this place and have been going here for years. Consistent quality bar food (i.e., burgers, wings, salads) and beer/cocktail options. Definitely recommend for lunch, dinner or happy hour. *Note: Since the pandemic, there is a lag in getting your order but isn't that everywhere?
There wasn’t a wait for a table, didn’t have to wait long to get served and the food was good. I had the Cali BLT with French fries and my daughter had a 10 piece Buffalo wing with celery and carrots. I would check them out again in the future.
Fantastic food and the waitress was outstanding. She had a eye for detail in taking care of us for lunch. Definitely g9t busy around noon so get there a bit early if you're going for lunch. Parking in the area sucks so he ready f9r that. It's on the end of a strip style shopping center so you may have to park around the corner in the neighborhood. Good luck getting a spot.
As I drove up I was a little bit concerned about the spot that I was told to go get lunch. But we were able to get a seat right away our service was super fast the food came up quickly and it was really really good. I ordered the patty melt with collard greens on the side and the collard greens were the best I've ever had! And the patty melt ranked right up there it was a little salty but other than that it was quite phenomenal!
They have outdoor seating in a couple different areas and then some indoor seating in a cool little hometown feeling bar.
We had burgers all around with 5 people. Great stuff! I'd pick the fries over the tater tots. The smoke house burger was excellent, but could have used a touch more of the delicious brisket and bbq d
Sauce.
